    Our vehicle was hit in March 2022, the estimate was completed in April and the earliest Nucar could get us in was in late June. Not a huge deal, until we took the vehicle to them, dropped it off and were called back a day later because they didn’t order the parts. We attempted to get this scheduled two more times but they refused us because we couldn’t drop it off a day ahead of time. We were then scheduled to bring it back at the end of August. I should dovetail here to explain that we requested an estimate to repair other minor damage that happened to a neighboring panel on the vehicle, not related to the accident associated with this repair. The cost of that would be out of our pocket and had been provided an estimate of about $1,300 for this when we initially went to Nucar in June. We unfortunately left that estimate in the truck when we dropped it off in August and couldn’t reference it when we later needed to. Fast forward to august, we drop the vehicle off a day before our vacation and were told that Nucar would call us prior to working on the vehicle. Several days later and multiple calls later, the service rep finally gets back to us with a final estimate of $1,600 for the work. During this time we were met with rude customer service representatives who could not answer questions, provide accurate timelines or explain the basis of the estimate they provided us. After too much frustration we moved our conversation over to Jay, the manager at Nucar. We explained that we had been issued an initial estimate which was $300 less than the current estimate and that we’d like to understand the difference in price, especially considering this additional work was on the panel right next to the one they would be working on, the paint would already be mixed and the labor/setup/etc w
