    My father-in-law is a double amputee and is in a wheelchair so we help him out around the house. He had a new fence put in during the summer. He contacted South Star Fence (SSF) and set up an appointment to have it stained. They arrived on Sept 18th and started to stain the fence with the wrong color stain. Everyone makes mistakes and we worked together to get the right color. Once completed it didn't seem to look right but we didn't know what to expect. We waited about a week and really started to notice SSF put a very light coat had stain runs all over and got stain on the new siding. I contacted SSF, spoke to a ******* and let her know the siding had stain on it and looked like it needed another coat. She said no problem and scheduled a day. The appointment came, no show or call. Contacted *******, indicated no one showed so we scheduled for another day. Next appointment came, no show or call. Reached out to ******* again. Asked why no one was showing up. ******* said she doesn't control where their workers go or do. I questioned why SSF would set appointments without knowing if their employee's will show up. She was not the owner and had no control of employee's. ******* made another appointment but was rained out. Again no call to reschedule. Called ******* again and another appointment was made. Rained out but ******* re-scheduled. 3 guys finally showed up came to the front door and asked me to walk out to fence. Only one barely spoke english. They couldn't put a second coat on because the stain had set. Only option, strip the fence & re-stain. Using his phone, showed me wood stripping products. Asked me what stripper would work. 4 of us stared at the fence for 20 min and I finally asked what's the plan. One worker started laughing the other showed me a stripper and said they would go to Lowes or Home Depot and would return. They didn't return. I called ******* the next day, asked to have the owner call me. It's now Nov 12th and that call was 2 weeks ago.
