    I paid $105 for a “diagnostic” because my car wouldn’t start 75% of the time.

    The $105 was supposed to go toward a solution.

    Meineke was unable to diagnose a $12 mass airflow sensor that needed cleaned. Had they ran the code on the check engine light they would have had a solution in 5 mins but instead they scammed me of my money and offered no solution.

    When I had my dad call because what they did was horrible the manager claimed my 2019 Chevy Cruze with no other issues was a piece of crap and they don’t fix pieces of crap….. how incredibly unprofessional of a corporate company and a terrible representation of a brand. He literally was screaming and speaking so disrespectfully. When we asked him to at least speak with respect “he said oh you want to go there” which is a very thinly veiled threat.

    Short version. My truck was leaking coolant. Took a week to repair. They pulled the intake manifold and reinstalled it with new gaskets I paid them in full early Drove it one mile and the check engine light came on. Drove back. Test showed a vacuum leak. They said bring it back couple days. When I brought it back the found a leak in the intake manifold they just installed. They refused to fix it or work on my truck

    Took vehicle to Meineke for oil change and to troubleshoot check engine light on Feb 27, 2024. oil change was complete then shop replaced purge solenoid hose due to diagnostic test results for the amount of 84.00 dollars. Picked up vehicle and check engine light was cleared, after driving car a short distance check engine light reappeared.Took said vehicle to auto zone and they ran a diagnostic test and results were code p0171 and-p0174. Took vehicle back to meineke next day and they replaced the upper intake manifold gasket. Picked vehicle up and light was cleared total amount of 435.00 dollars, after driving a short distance again check engine light reappeared. took vehicle to auto zone for yet another diagnostic test again the codes again p0171 and p0174. called meineke again and they said to bring back into shop. This time they replaced the map sensor and the fuel filter. Picked up vehicle and light was again not illuminated after driving short distance vehicle was idling rough and stalled 4 times and check engine light reappeared. Meineke said to bring back next day Mar 1st and they put the map sensor back on the vehicle and they cleared the code, After leaving shop check engine light reappeared ,gladly vehicle was not idling rough or stalling. Have all the documentation from Auto Zone times and date it was brought there. Engine light still on at this time.
