On July29, 2024, I responded to an ad on Amazon for a “Harison Electric Inversion Table for Back Pain” and the price was with tax around $375. I received the package the next day and put 90% of it together before I noticed that there were no electric outlets or wires there. I called Amazon and was instructed to contact the manufacturer, Harison Fitness. I called and left a message and on Monday morning I received a return call from “*****”, the manager at Harison. On that morning call, I related the issue with ***** and he then offered to me to swap my non-electric machine (Model HR-407) for the electric model (HR-409) and to give to me a coupon for $50 towards a future purchase. Later that afternoon, I received an email from ***** which, in essence, rescinded his earlier offer and made a new offer: (1) I should return the non-electric HR-407 to Amazon and get a refund, (2) PURCHASE THE ELECTRIC hr-409 for @$750 plus tax, and (3) he would then send me a $50 coupon for further purchases.

This is clearly a bait and switch fraud. I did not get the benefit of the bargain, and is clearly a violation of Federal Trade Commission as well as a violation of the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.
