1 starDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I am currently on the phone with AHS (I don’t recommend dealing with these people either). The owner came out to my house 7/16. Looked at my unit for all of 3-5 minutes and stated I needed a brand new ac/heating system. Tells me it’ll be a few days but I’ll hear from AHS by the end of the week and to check my spam for information on an upgrade program. 7/19 my partner calls the business & gets told by Emily that she was affected by the windows update but that she would call the authorizations department to get it worked out but that AHS isn’t trying to approve their diagnosis (DUHHHH IT’S JUST A LEAK ! I DON’T NEED A NEW UNIT). I’m also confused because they were at my house prior to the windows issue and I know I saw them leave a reply on another platform telling a customer that they submit their diagnosis reports same day (LIES). 7/22, I notice nothing updated on my account but it was after hours so I called AHS on 7/23. They reach out to her and she tells them she’s currently on hold with the authorization department. 7/25 (today)- she had the nerve to tell AHS that she can’t get it approved because they called her to check the status. Now, I didn’t ask AHS to call a 2nd time so that’s on AHS but you had over a week, Emily. Over a week. My house is hot. I have 2 small kids in here, one of which has asthma and AHS won’t pay for anything I do out of pocket because Emily and the owner won’t submit the paperwork. And instead of calling and apologizing or better yet…SUBMITTING THE PAPERWORK, I bet I’ll just see some snarky response on here. Company is ZERO stars. This is the worst experience I have gotten with a service company. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. We were scheduled for 8am to 10am. My tenant was for this repair to go to work. At 10:19 I called them to express my frustration that someone is running late for work and find a better time. The owner (Vinnie) was very dismissive, unprofessional, rude and arrogant. He had no intention of listening what I had to say or have any consideration that someone is missing work. This was Vinnie response: you have 3 Options. 1. You wait for the tech to get there. (Which ended up being an HOUR LATE.) 2. We reschedule and I will need you (me) to be there. 3. You cancel the work order, I DONT NEED YOUR BUSINESS. We ended up cancelling the service order. After all this the tech called at 10:50am saying he is on his way. Instead of honoring their commitment, they were very late, had no consideration on any one else time, cancelled, and was dismissive. Hello elhaj thank you for your review. Your appointment time was between 10 and 12 you are a american homeshield coustomer my technician was running behind our policy with american homeshield is that as the contract holder you have to be present when work is done at the residence on the work order to make any decision if there is something that is not covered at the residence that is under-contract with american homeshield when we set the appointment up with you originally the appointment time was between 10-12 and we advised you that you needed to be present which you were not i spoke to you at 10:19 saying my tech will be to you but it will be closer to 12 and you started cursing and scream at me when i advised you that if you are not present we can either reschedule you when you are available and not your tennat and when you again cussed at me i said we can just cancel your work order and you can have a different providerReview fromTaj R

1 starDo NOT give this company any money. Look at the other horrible reviews on this failing company. Do NOT trust this company!!! This company is unprofessional they do not come on time and they will lie to your face to prolong the job and charge you more. You talk to the owner vinnie on the phone but then he sends out different plumbers who don’t know what the hell they are doing at all!! He never comes out to help with the fixes. The First person they sent out used a small snake and couldn’t get the clog, second person came out 2 weeks later to try to use the same damn snake, The plumber told me he couldn’t fix it, he needed to go smoke a cigarette break & needed to talk to his manager about what to do next and he leaves. I should’ve seen that as a red flag but I let it slide. Then The company charges me $825 in advance saying they will come out to finish it but didn’t fix anything!!!!!! then I had to call the company again to ask them why haven’t they fixed it. I haven’t been able to use my kitchen sink and I have a newborn baby whose bottles I have to wash. So after calling multiple times I finally get someone on the phone & Vinne says it’s gonna be another $300 to jet the line. Why didn’t you call me to let me know this after I paid you $825? I said no, I want a refund because it doesn’t even sound right… Now the total cost is up to $1375. Len the plumber came out and fixed the damn drain with a 50 foot snake for $300. This cousin Vinne company completely scammed me and charge me $825 for not one fix at all. after two months of inconvenience They refuse to give me a refund because he needs to pay the crackhead plumbers they sent out that don’t know what they’re doing. This failing company does NOT care about its customers and I will never ever recommend them to anyone on this planet. They will not be successful by doing business this way. Look at the other horrible reviews on this company and the owner. Please Choose a different plumber to fix your issue!!!Review fromJohn T

This contractor "My Cousin Vinnie LLC" was hired through my home warrenty company to service my gas furnace, First off my appointment was in the morning, he finally showed up to my home at 8pm, with no prior contact. I allowed him to take a look at the furnace anyways because it was cold in my home. The contractor said a part was bad and he will try to source the part and if he could not get it he will replace the entire gas furnace unit within a week & 1/2. I called multiple times and left vm messages with no response. The tech never contacted me in 3 weeks!!! and no new replacement order was ever placed with my Home Warrenty Company. This guy Vinnie is the worst ever, Please do yourself a favor and never hire this unprofessional so called HVAC tech.My Cousin Vinnie, LLC

thanks jessica for your review but your work order was submitted the same day i don’t understand ur frustration with my company due to the fact american homeshield is the one who dragged there feet for 11 plus days on approving ur water heater to be replace but we submitted all work to be done on sight due to the program american homeshield uses that makes us take pictures on site to do any repair over 300 dollars which would be ur water heater replacement ur frustration should be with american homeshield not my cousin vinnieReview fromDashaye B.

1 starIf I didn’t have to give a star at all I wouldn’t. I was recommend from Sears home warranty service for My cousin Vinny on July 2022 this year. When I tell you there was so many red flags ?? about them, but I needed my AC units fixed in the middle of a 90+ degree weather regret doing that. Made an appointment for them to come out the day of the appointment I had to call and remind them that I had the appointment a young man arrived at my house after business hours at 8:45 PM , no problem because I knew what was exactly going on My compressor ended up going on my split AC Long story short he did just enough to get to my 100 dollar deductible from Sears. Homeowners please don’t waste your time with this company!!!!!
