The company moved our belongings from Wilmington, DE to our apartment in Columbia , MD on March/14/2025 I requested them to hand pictures on the wall for which I paid additional amount. They mounted the pictures inappropriately using 3 M adhesive anchors which specify that appropriate sized anchors should be used depending on the weight of the picture and also after anchoring the adhesive hook to the wall, wait for an hour before hanging the picture. These guidelines were not followed. That night a heavy picture mounted above the sofa in the living room fell on the sofa. I called the owner Mr ******* ****** on March/15/2025/ He and his associate came on March/16/2025 and remounted the picture using nails and hooks. At that time I expressed my concern about the remaining pictures falling. They assured me the durability of the adhesive anchors. On the early morning of April/04/2025 around 3.30 am another picture crashed to the floor with glass shattered and damage to the wood frame. I took it to the photo shop. It will cost $122.43 to reframe the picture. I paid for it. I forwarded the invoice to the owner of the moving company. After this event I did not want to take any chances with the pictures. I took them down. I asked the owner to remount them using nails and hooks. He declined. So I asked the maintenance supervisor at our facility to do the job. He charged me $50. I paid him I asked the owner of the moving company to reimburse total amount of $172.43 to fix damaged picture and labor charges of remounting. It is because of improper mounting this happened. I have talked with the owner to settle this issue amicably. He refuses. Hence I request BBB to review the facts and come to a conclusion. I can email the documents. Actually, MR.******* ****** has the documents, if he is willing to share with you

Justlabormovers had a contract with Dr, ************** to move his items from Delaware to Maryland. The contract also included mounting of paintings. Once we completed the job on March 14 2025. i recieved payment in full from customer. On April 7 2025. I recieved a phone call from customer stating a painting had fallen off the wall and he was looking to be reimburse for the painting. I told the customer that 3 to 4 weeks had gone by since the move was completed  and feel the company is not responsible since so much time has elapse,

The original move date was March 14 2025.  On that date justlabormovers was paid in full for the agreed price. I recieved a phone call on April 7 which is 21 days after the completion of job. If the mounting was so poorly done how come i didnt recieve a phone call sooner. Also according to the customer the other pictures that were hung are still hanging. Whos to say that something eles happened to the one picture. If the rest of the pictures are poorly hung  they should have came down also. 21 days after a job is completed is way too long to hold us responsible. If it had happened a week or so after the job completed then we are responsible. Someone could have tryed to move picture or even knocked it over. As far as us not mounting it properly. The customer was there to witness the whole job. there was no complaint then. Not only did he paid in full he also tipped my movers. Again a sign of showing satisfoctory service. Thank you
