    We accidentally paid for a replacement SS card through a site we thought was part of the official social security administration department.     I needed to change my name on my Social Security card and as I was trying to find information on how to do this online rather in person I ran into this website call SSNSIMPLE.COM. This website looked very legit as if it was the government itself which I did assume it was. Around November 18, 2021 I bought there services which they charge $49.00 for and I wasnt able to get any documents sent in until April 22 which was then delievered on April 25. Never got any mail or response back from them for a while so Ive tried calling dozens and dozens of times always been on wait for hours never to pick up and just hang the phone call because "they were closed". Since calling did not work I decided to email them because keep in mind they needed me to mail in very important documents such as my birth certificate and marriage licence and I needed to know where the hell was my package at. So I emailed them on May11: didnt help at all just sending me request for the order number and never helped. MAY18: same thing never help MAY25: no response MAY26,27,31 : still no response and then last email i sent was on JUNE4: still no response what so ever. I have reciepts of all emails and payment that has been made. Not only do i need help getting a refund for this scam but also how do i get my very important documents back. The worlds needs to know of this scam of a website!

    On 06-02-2022 at approximately 1:45PM I attempted to go to the Social Security Web page. I was prompted to the SSN Simple web page and thought I was on a Government Web page and placed an order. The web page mirrors an actual Government web page with fine print saying its not. I discovered this was not a Government website and I attempted to cancel my order. order #SSN-570257 There is no one to talk to and SSN Simple web page is not accessible. The phone number directs you to a web page to cancel orders but it doesn't exist. SSN Simple provide no service just a paid postage and a form that can be found on the actual Social Security web site.
