    I rented a Cargo Van for the day May 6, 2023 at the Blue Bird Ln, Rehoboth Beach De and the sales clerk stated there's a full tank of gas and i need to return the same or they charge $10/gal. My son and i completed our moving in less than 4 hrs and went to get the tank filled. As i was filling my son told me to stop at 2 gal because all we did was 14 miles in total. When i received the invoice via email i was charged $62.00 for 6.2 gallons of gas. I called numerous times to many offices and everyone was shifting me to someone else. I was finally able too reach Sabatha in the Milford De office and she mentioned i could not get a refund as the documents filed shows the vehicle took 6.2 gal to fill. I stated it's highly impossible to fill the tank with 6.2 gallon being i only drove and used 14 miles. I mentioned that i most likely did not get a Cargo Van with a full tank of gas. Sabatha stated she's sorry but there's nothing they could do being the paper work shows the amt of gas to fill the tank . I mentioned this is fraud and a scam and it's not about the money but the principle if they do this scam to a lot of customers. I mentioned i will file a police report and file this complaint with the BBB as not to let this happen to anyone else. I received a call within the hour of speaking to Sabatha and she mentioned the clerk ( Michelle ) at the Blue Bird Ln plaza documented 3.5 gallons use and that she will credit my acc't for approx $35.00. When i questioned why all of a sudden it's documented 3.5 gallon when my receipt/invoice shows differently (6.2 gaI) she had no explanation. I said that's not good enough as we filled with 2 gallons which was suffice for the 14 mile use and cost approx $6.35. I mentioned i should get the full credit back and she refused and i also suggested refund me $ 50.00 and we will forget about this. She declined that request as well. Please look into this matter as to avoid other customers from being scammed and taken advantage of. Thank you
