  He’s a crook. His crew are convicts and drug addicts. He will take your money and leave you with more repairs to complete than when you started. RUN!

  Read reviews posted by others. I confirm everything they said. To boot, I have pictures of his worker stealing from us. Trying our locked garage door, and when I confronted Brad, he said he has known the guy since they were little kids and he wouldn't do something like that. Lies. Job is not completely done, missed areas of repair and is making excuses why he can't come and fix the problem. Meanwhile, I have mold growing in my bathroom closet (I told him the issue back in March which he said he would come out asap, lie). His workers were smoking pot under my house while working, I had to constantly keep an eye on them from wandering around the property, left empty drink cans under our home, and never showed up on time or answered the phone. Stay away. I don't have the time to waste on small claims court. Hoping I can help someone else from making a mistake.

  My issue is similar to Al P.'s... We hired him a month after Al did, and apparently while Brad Shane was supposed to be working on the addition on Al's home, he started our deck refinish. It was only SUPPOSED to take a week. It's January 2023, our deck is not finished, has failed code, and we haven't heard from Brad Shane since July (he doesn't return calls or texts). My wife and I thought we would need to hire someone to finish the work, but it turns out the work that was completed was not done correctly, as boards are already starting to loosen. Stay clear of Brad Shane/ Island Designs.

  I called Brad to do a few projects at our farm, which he did quickly, professionally, and reasonably priced. He enclosed our porch with heavy plastic and built a large cat shelter with Tom & Jerry entrances to keep our feral cats out of the wind, cold, and rain. He insulated our third-floor attic. He fixed a roof that was damaged and causing the window to leak in the bathroom. He repaired the drywall in the bathroom that was damaged by the leak. He repaired the window. He and his crew have done a fantastic job on everything I've asked them to do, and I didn't have to wait forever. He responded quickly to every request. I'll be using his company for all my construction needs.

  I paid owner **** *****, the owner of Inland design builders , a substantial amount of money on several occasions, beginning Saturday, April 16 , 2022 , to do complete an exterior addition to my home . He stated , " it would take him approximately 3 weeks to complete. He took the first payment on Monday, April 18 , 2022 , started for two days , & then shortly thereafter would come periodically. He would work for an hour or two & disappear . He would basically come & get some money and not return. This went on for a while . I would call him to inquire when could I expect to see him ? The phone would go to his answering machine . Which was always full . I couldn't leave a message. It's now Friday , July 22 , 2022 . And the job is still not complete. I paid him all of the money that was requested on the contract, & He still hasn't honored the contract . Brad , has made all kind of excuses for why the the job wasn't completed . He even went to the point of stating, " he had death in the family " . I was very understanding & patient . I have observed him doing work on other people's properties in my neighborhood . He still would make excuses why he couldn't honor our contract. He is very inconsiderate , Unprofessional , unreliable, & a manipulator and so on . Please don't trust anything that he says!! & definitely don't give him money upfront.
