    I spoke with Deb Doherty back in early February explaining our tax situation and seeking her services. She quoted me a price of $300-500 to prepare our taxes so we submitted all of our information. I did not hear anything from 5-1/2 months and when I called 3 weeks before the tax deadline I was told they were being worked on. Three days before the deadline we were hit with several questions about our taxes, clearly showing she had just started them, and then one day before the deadline we were told we owed $12k and she send us a bill for $1175, almost 2-3x her estimate, and we weren't notified about this increase. We were not given any time to seek someone else's help and had to scurry desperately to come up with the money to pay her and the IRS. When we tried calling they don't answer the phones and instead choose to screen their calls, only calling you back if they want to. Also, there was no offer to have us come in and sit down to discuss our taxes and what we can to better prepare ourselves next year, which is what other tax companies have done for us in the past. Whatever you do....our family urges you to NOT use this company for any reason! We only chose 1 star for our review because you're not able to leave it blank.
