    I hired Mark Prichett to install a new bathroom. Apparently something he has done many times before and is VERY experienced. Great, I thought, I’m in good hands. However within 2 months of the shower being complete….. drip, drip, drip…..through the ceiling below. So I tried to speak to Mark who suddenly wouldn’t return any of my calls and the slippery-as-a-snake tiler put on an award winning show of blaming everyone else.

    So….what did I do? Called my old contractor, someone I had used in the past and whose work was………….wait for it…………WORKING!………..my old faithful friend. He opened the ceiling to see what the problem was and the gush of water nearly washed him off the ladder. Yup, the shower drain was leaking. But that’s not all, so was the tile curb around the shower. It was a royal screw up and there was no saving it. The ENTIRE shower was ripped out! Still hadn’t heard from the very experienced Mark Prichett or the slippery snake! They had vanished into thin air. It was like one of those tv shows…….you know the one where it happens to other people……

    Well the only choice at this stage was to get a new tiler and bless him, he’d tried to show restraint “Holey F**k it’s like Frankenstein was here”. Thanks mate. That made me feel a whole lot better.

    So where is Mark the scoundrel you may ask? Well……..I have not seen nor heard from Mark Prickett to this day. He was gone faster than a burglar in the night.

    So If you do come across him……. We’ll I’m sure you will know what to do…

    AVOID THE SCOUNDREL AT ALL COSTS……….
