    I order yarn based on a photo on the website and checked the needle size also known as gauge #10. However, I received yarn that was not what was pictured and it was gauge #7. I contacted the company to find out how to make the exchange. I was told I was sent what I ordered.

    But I didn't receive what I ordered!!! Instead of trying to understand the situation their customer service shut me down. A subsequent email was ignored.

    I've purchased from the company many times over the years. I never had an issue before. However, had I known this is how they treat customer service issues, I would have bought from other companies all this time.

    Lovecrafts' shipper in the UK and Ireland (Evri, formerly Hermes) lost two out of three of my orders. I knew the shipper was the issue, because they are considered the least reliable shipper in the area, so I decided after a while to give Lovecrafts another chance and to warn them not to use the problem shipper. I placed an order and immediately had a long chat with their rep, who assured me they would not use Evri to ship my parcel. They shipped it with Evri anyway and of course there was a problem. The parcel was returned to sender by the shipper (it never came closer than 250 km to me and I can prove this), and I received a refund. However the shipper chose to mark it "delivered" on the day it was returned to Lovecrafts, so Lovecrafts are now hounding me to pay them for the order that not only did I never receive, but is actually now in their possession. The order number was XD-16A-912-127-YE if someone at Lovecrafts is interested in sorting this out.
