    Date of transaction: 8/7/22 : Initially I did not have issues with them except for they do call you several times until the reservation is made like any other travel agency. ISSUE OVERCHARGED. I paid $2600 for the flight ticket from HYD-STL (HYD-BLR- CDG-ATL-STL). There was a domestic flight from HYD-BLR which in India that costs around $150. If you deduct the domestic flight from HYD-BLR, I paid ~$2400 for the international travel part of the ticket. I received miles on this reservation from Delta airlines and hence found out the transaction from BLR-STL costs $1029.83. So they made a profit of $1370+ from this reservation. I was shocked and emailed them when I found out about this and they said they gave me the best price. A little backstory to this best pricing comment of theirs, when I was looking for tickets, I asked in a facebook group that the tickets are costing $3500 for travel around that time and if there is another way to find the cheapest flights. I came to find out about this travel agency from that facebook group. So this company thinks and actually states that they gave me best price of $2600 as the tickets around that time should cost $3500 per my facebook post. In that sense, If I were to post on the facebook group that the tickets cost $5500 they would have charged me $4500 for this same reservation and I wish I did and would have completely avoided this company in the first place, They took advantage of my need at the time. Also they make multiple calls day and night and keep changing their prices every minute. Price varies by seconds and minutes these days and I agree 100%. But I was just utterly shocked. I wish this experience of mine will be helpful for people looking for honest reviews. Now needless to say, I was ridiculed for making a comment about this in that fb group which is honestly the most helpful group on fb so far but I do understand everyone has their own opinions and are free to state. SO DO I. This is my personal experience.

    At Fantastic Fare we have always tried and will always do our best to offer best deals and best customer service to our clients. Fantastic Fare always follows this practice that to we communicate each and every detail of the flight booking with the respective client and give our clients enough time to do their complete research about fares and routes of the flight booking. In Fact you started talking to Fantastic Fare about your travel booking with Fantastic Fare on August 4th, 2022 and completed your booking on August 7th, 2022. Starting from August 4th to August 7th, there were 41 emails exchanged between  you and Fantastic Fare team which includes a go ahead from your end to issue the tickets at the discussed price. Also you transferred some excess amount to us, which we honestly refunded to your account and did not charge even single penny over and above the amount committed to you at the time of the booking. Moreover, let me put here that the flight tickets that you booked on August 7th was for the travel within 1 week which was August 14th, 2022 and I need not to say that August is a very high season when it come to travel between India and US due to the student intake in colleges/universities and people coming to US after summer holidays. 

    Also, I would like to explain that Fantastic Fare is a very small agency when it comes to scale of travel industry however it does not make any impact on our efforts and our sincerity to deliver best customer service across travel industry. For this one of reason is that we have ties with big consolidators and other service providers who pre-purchase all the services including flight tickets. This is one of the way which helps us to get better deals and provide better customer service.  Fantastic Fare can be held responsible if you faced any issues while traveling after booking tickets with us. But as far as I know your travel went smoothly after booking tickets with Fantastic Fare. 

    We will always try to make your travel a better experience. 

    If you feel that you need to discuss this we are always open to talk. Rather we have tried calling you several times but couldn't connect with you.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.
    I appreciate BBB for accepting my complaint. I also appreciate the business responding to this complaint and also reaching out to me personally to resolve this complaint. As mentioned before I did not make this complaint for any compensation. The business is still blindsided as they do not see what the issue here really is. I made this complaint to make general public aware of this travel agency runs their business. So I do request the company not to reach out to me personally anymore and to only contact on this forum for further communication. In regards to your response, you did not do me a favor by refunding my own money when I transferred money in excess. That is called fraud if you keep someone else's money where it can be proved that you kept the money and I believe now that you brought it up that may be you returned my money because it can be proved as fraud. I accidentally transferred extra money and they refunded my own money that I transferred by accident. Should I grateful for this gesture?Now, I will explain why this company is still completely blindsided of the issue or they do not want to accept the fact that they made profit by overcharging me. I checked multiple times with the airlines of the ticket pricing. The travel company made a profit of >$1000. They never accepted the fact that they made this profit or this is the amount they paid for the ticket. They repeatedly state that they charged me the best price on the market during the busiest travel time of the year. I did sign and pay them because at that time I did not know I was being overcharged. I only came to know after I travelled when I saw the ticket in my airlines account. So don't waste your time repeating the same statement again and again that you gave me the best price. Thank you BBB for accepting my complaint and this is for public awareness for people to not blindly trust this company as they make it seem so great.
