The claim that “countless hours” were spent educating me is misleading. My interactions with IPS have been marked by vague responses and a lack of resolution. On June 9, 2025, I called to follow-up on my dispute hearing and record request. I reminded Christina, for the second time that I serve on the HOA Board. She was shocked and said she had been given a list of former BOD members. She also told me she had a meeting scheduled with the BOD on June 10 to discuss community issues she disagreed with, and some of her staff are ready to quit, due to Beverly constant authoritarian directive. I informed her that as a current board member, I had received no notice of this meeting. Then, on June 13, I received a letter dated June 10 notifying me I was no longer on the Board.

IPS, who insists they only follow the BOD’s lead... is the one issuing violation notices, community emails, and letters. These notices state homeowners can dispute violations within 10 days. When I’ve done so, there’s been zero acknowledgment. Yet fines are still applied. This defies Article VI, Section 6.05(d) of the HOA Declaration, which clearly states:

“The right of the Association to suspend a Member’s voting rights and rights to use of the Community Facilities and Common Area after notice and a hearing for any infraction of any of the published rules and regulations of the Association or of this Amended Declaration.”

Due process is not optional. IPS is not funded by the BOD but by the 325 homeowners. If they cannot assist residents but continue to enforce penalties, who holds them, and the selectively governing BOD, accountable?

Christina has expressed concern about the unethical behavior of the Board and its impact on IPS’s credibility. Yet IPS continues to participate in what is clearly retaliatory conduct. My statements reflect documented events, not opinion, and expose a troubling breach of trust and procedure.

Avoid Investment Property Services (IPS): A Management Company That Fails Its Communities

If you’re looking for a property management company that advocates for residents and promotes community growth, IPS is not it. As a homeowner in a 325-home community under their management, I’ve witnessed consistent patterns of neglect, poor communication, and lack of accountability.

This review isn’t from a disgruntled homeowner over a single issue, it’s an informed warning based on widespread, well-documented problems affecting the majority of our neighborhood.

IPS has admitted they do not advocate for residents, but work for the HOA BOD.(Board of Directors) They simply carry out directives from our HOA board... even when they privately disagree. Their role has been reduced to printing letters, issuing fines, and collecting money, while our HOA president exercises unchecked control.

The co-owner and property manager, Christina Peronti, has stated our board is among the worst she’s worked with in over 25 years. Yet she remains complicit, ignoring emails and portal messages and marking unresolved issues as “closed.” Her tone is routinely curt, dismissive, and unprofessional.

Approximately 70% of residents have reported excessive, often retroactive violations and fines with no meaningful response from IPS. While Alexis and Tricia are polite, they lack the experience & authority to resolve issues. Most inquiries are funneled through Christina and frequently go unanswered.

This isn’t management, it’s rubber-stamping dysfunction. IPS has enabled disorder while silencing residents. If you're considering their services, proceed with extreme caution, or better yet, don’t proceed at all.

As property managers for HOA's, our role is act under the elected Board of Directors, the community documents and rules and regulations while at the same time supporting residents in the community. The role of IPS is not to override any Board or Board decision. Issues that arise between owners and board decisions are to be reviewed by the elected board who have a responsibility to act under the community regulations.

All communication that comes into the IPS office is logged, be it a phone call, email or portal request and countless hours from several staff members were spent with this homeowner alone, each time spent educating the owner on our role within the community. All homeowner inquires have been shared with the board for the community and the board has issued responses to the homeowner.

Unfortunately, there are several misrepresented statements in the review above.
