- Additional Info:BBB received multiple reports from consumers that PayLater offered a job, receiving, inspecting and then reshipping out goods in exchange for pay. Consumers report "working" for the company for about 1 month and then being closed out of their online portal with no further communication from the company.
BBB's experience is that this type of job/position, offered online via a website with no verifiable address, principals or employees is part of a widely known practice called "reshipping/repackaging" MORE INFORMATION - Additional Info:BBB has reached out to the website to request additional information but to date, has not received a response.
Consumers report being "hired" to inspect and ship packages. Consumers are ultimately not paid and there is no recourse.
BBB requested the company disclose the nature of their business and provide verifiable contact information for company principals; disclose the nature of the position and expectations and pay policies for the positions for which they are hiring. BBB requests that they update and disclose to the public this information. To date, no response has been received.
