    In February of 2023 I signed a contract for repairs to damage caused by Hurricane Ian. I met with the agent for Armour and submitted a $10,000 payment with Armour Roofing and Restoration for carport, lanai, and shed repairs / restoration on my manufactured home. Mr. *** and his company have offered excuses and promises, but no work has even started. I either want the work completed per our contract or my money back.

    Gave the owner of Armour Roofing and Restoration $7500 for a down payment to do my roof and he never did it ask for my money back several times he keeps saying he has no problem refunding my money never gave it to me this is been going on since March of 23 his name is Doug *** *** *** **** is his cell number would like my money back as soon as possible

    Bruce cancelled a legit contract, and was given his refund back.  We have also been in communication with him the entire time.  Please see the attached check, which has cleared.  Bruce, in his efforts to screw over our company, admitted to not even reading the contract, even though he claims to being a prior contractor. This customer tried to get added work for free, cussed and swore at me and my guys, and has generally been a nightmare.  He has his money and if this goes on my BBB record, I will be forced to file a suit against him.

    This company was hired to do siding repair. They took my money, never got any product to do the job onsite, they've had nothing but excuses as to why (can't find siding, it's not local, someone has to drive it here because it's cheaper than shipping and yes, I have evidence of all conversations). It's quite sad really, he seems to have his daughter involved as well. - I signed the notice of termination on 9/7/23 (as he requested) and was promised a full refund, yet Doug *** has numerous excuses as to why it hasn't been sent. Douglas **** *** the owner *** ******** ** ******* *** ***** ** ** *** *** **** ********* ***** *** **** ** ************* *** **** ******* *** ***** **** ****** **** *** ****** ** **** ************** I just filed a formal complaint with the Florida State's Attorney's office and will be following up with them this coming week. I'm done with his games. YES I AM WILLING TO TALK TO THE MEDIA

    This check was mailed out and cashed.  Communication was made to let her know it was sent via regular mail.  There is no reason for this complaint.
