July 6, 2024. I have a composite roof (aluminum room) that, after 20 years, finally needed re-sealing on the seams and the flashing connecting the main roof to the aluminum room. After researching aluminum companies and finding all the reviews to be less than my level of satisfaction, I again called ***************************** six years later and still happy with the roofing job theyd done on the main roof of my house, and asked if they repaired composite roofing. Again the entire crew was amazing, they came within a couple weeks - in this extreme heat - and repaired the composite roofs seams. Several days later, after a heavy rain, I discovered a leak and called ****** at ***************************** and ***** came out within 24 hours and assessed the problem and he and another guy was out the next day and worked on the roof. Ive had several heavy rainstorms since and no problems. To everyone at ***************************** especially *****, my heartfelt thanks for coming thru for me once again. REALLY, if you want a roofer you can TRULY TRUST, call **************************** Roofing, they do stand behind their work. If they didnt, Id be right back on here to say so!

I've known Bob and Jerry's for years but this time they really blew it they had their people subcontractors drop shingles bundles of shingles on my manufacturer home and shatter all my trusses which has led to the seating coming in and they have to hold my ceiling up by 2x4s as of last week when we had that big rain water came in my bedroom where I'm sleeping I had to put buckets out there to catch the water it's been 3 months I've checked since June and not and now it's September since June approximately 6:00 and they have not accomplished anything it keeps coming down to excuses from their contacts their insurance or whoever but now I've lost 105,000 offer to buy my place they have the money now they backed out now I'm stuck with this piece of junk I'll tell you right now in my opinion everybody can do what they want if they want to do business with him but as far as me I will never do business with Bob and Jerry's again and now they I just talked to their man Henry who is the engineer from my knowledge and I told him I want you guys to buy me out come up with a figure I'll sit down with them talk about it and they're going to buy me out otherwise I'm going to get a hold of attorney I'm going to keep falling complaints with the state of Florida until their license is revoked I am really ticked off

Joe ******* signed a contract for a roof replacement on June 6th, 2023. His materials were stocked on the roof on July 19th and the project was scheduled to be completed in one day on July 25th.
On the day of installation, the homeowner reported an issue with the ceiling starting to break apart at the seam to the project manager (PM) on site. The PM notified the Sales and Production Managers of the situation and requested assistance on site to review the damage. Upon arrival, the Sales and Production Managers deemed the job site unsafe and halted all work on the project.
The trusses were beginning to break from the weight of the shingles stocked on the roof by the distributor Beacon. After bracing the interior to prevent a collapse, it was determined the home was trussed using 1x2 lumber which is far from structurally sound. Additional work was canceled for the day and the roof was made watertight prior to the roofing crew being dismissed from the jobsite. The homeowner was notified of the situation and the distributor Beacon was contacted to determine how this repair could be covered.
After a day or two of contacting the homeowners insurance and the distributor Beacon, Beacon agreed to cover the expense of the repair. The distributor Beacon has remained in contact with the homeowner directly in the proceeding weeks to provide updates with the process of repairing his home which included hiring a general contractor, identifying a scope of work, hiring an engineering firm to design a replacement truss system, acquiring permits, and securing materials. Bob & Jerry's and Beacon have made every effort to work with the homeowner on the matter and will continue to do so until it is resolved.
During the process, the system of tarps and underlayment used to dry-in the roof began to leak over a holiday weekend and the Beacon’s general contractor was not available to return to the home until the beginning of the following week.
The homeowner is upset with Bob & Jerry's for the time it is taking to make his home whole again but is neglecting to consider the steps required to update his out-of-date home to current structural standards.
The process is still on-going and is currently waiting for the engineering plans to be approved.
The claims of the homeowner are unfounded as Bob & Jerry's and Beacon, are making every reasonable effort to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
