  I represent a company that owns commercial rental property and previously engaged Snap Debt Recovery to collect two debts from evicted tenants. After posting this review, I plan to use their services again for another client. One thing I appreciated was their willingness to negotiate contractual terms. They successfully recovered a substantial portion of one debt, which was owed by a tenant evicted for nonpayment of rent. Before retaining Snap, I had made multiple attempts to contact the debtor and even sent a demand letterwithout success. Their ability to recover a significant amount where my efforts had failed speaks to their effectiveness.The second debt, however, was not recovered. This was from a tenant evicted due to violent incidents, and we were attempting to recoup cleaning and repair costs. Given the weaker legal basis for collection and the tenants extreme hostility over the eviction, I acknowledge that recovery was always a long shot. I dont fault Snap for being unable to secure payment in this instance.The only reason Im giving four stars instead of five is their lack of communication. For the first debt, there was little follow-up between the time I hired them and when the debtor agreed to pay. For the second debt, they never officially informed me that collection efforts had ********* only assumed so based on the time that has passed.I spent a long time searching for a collection agency willing to work with us, as most only cater to large leasing companies. Im incredibly grateful that the one agency I found was not only willing to take us on but also proved to be effective. Despite the communication issues, I consider them well worth hiring.

  The folks at Snap get it...collections is probably tough and is not something me or my staff want to be involved in so we just send any unpaid invoices to Snap. We figure anything they collect is better than what we had before giving them a shot.

  This company uses deceptive collection practices. ******* has been very rude and lied from the beginning. I worked out a payment plan so that this business debit didn't get reported to my personal credit. Told her I was going to make the payment. I told her I was sick in bed with the flu with ************************************ to jump out of bed to run and get this paid. I made the payment and was told it wouldn't report on credit and they did anyway. The amount was incorrect from the beginning. I corrected her and she said that it was their mistake. Then she sends me a statement with a totally different amount due. They are reporting the original amount which is wrong on credit. I worked out a payment plan so that this business debit didn't get reported to my personal credit. Told her I was going to make the payment when I got feeling better. I made the payment and was told it wouldn't report on credit and they are reporting on my credit anyway. Do not believe a thing this company says! Don't work with them! They will lie to your face. Crazy thing is I have it all in writing. Filing a complaint with the ***** Attorney General.

  Unfortunately, nothing in this review is factual. ******************** had an opportunity to enter into a payment arrangement on a reduced debt amount, but failed to make his first payment and missed the deadline by 2 weeks. Our office attempted to make contact with the consumer for another 7-10 days, but received zero return communication. We are in continued communication with ******************** to resolve this issue.

  My wife opened a case with Snap Debt Recovery in 2021. Over the last several months we have contacted them several times for an update and to plan the path forwards, but we have heard nothing from them since January 2023. We have called and emailed multiple times with no response.

  This was previously resolved between the parties. Snap has been diligently chasing this client's debtor with multiple law firm accross 2-3 states. **************** previously advised he was satisfied.
