      I had ADD security for three years. Signed up for maintenance contract to insure my security system worked. When an issue occurs to the system Im fixing the problem. You have to call and they walk you through the problem? My contract expired so I canceled for obvious reasons. They tell me it takes 30 day to cancel? Do not subscribe to ADT, buyers remorse!

      I am a senior citizen of 66 year old woman. ADT took advantage of me and lied to me. I signed a contract for a monthly use of the security system that will call the police if it goes off long enough. Im eight months in and paid over $100 a month to use their security system that doesnt even work properly. I had no idea that they were gonna ruin my credit report because they told me I couldnt cancel at any time. I had to fulfill the whole 60 month. Again, I had no idea that it was a 60 month contract. I WAS TAKEN LAWSUIT

      I had a home security system installed by ADT. They have a working arrangement with ********************. State Farm will reduce our homewners insurance by *% and possibly more with a security system from ADT. ADT also advertises that customers in **** that have State Farm Insurance and agree to a 36 month contract will be charged $19.99 per month for monitoring services. They called tonight and said I owed $68 a month for wo months (and they never sent me a bill until I asked for it via the e-mail). I have gone through four different people at ADT and the last one agreed that the monitoring system would be $19.99 but they cannot get me to the billing department, plus they offer discounts on several pieces of installed equipment that were not given to me or told to me by the technician. I plan to contact the *********************'s office based on fraud by ADT. Fou people and no one could help me

      I would really give a big Zero to this company. Signing up for the service is a complete rip off. They use ADT **** to trap consumers and then add on hidden costs worth hundreds of dollars saying u need upgrades. **************** is also bad. Even when they s**** things up, they are not very apologetic and try to extract money. Terrible experience! Trapped once u sign up

      When you sign up with ADT. ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PAID FOR BY YOU! They charge you a fee to come out and repair their equipment that you will pay thousands for. You will pay an equipment fee and a monitoring fee. You must be home if there are any problems with your equipment or cameras. They will say its your internet if they can. They dont communicate with each other. Take pictures and write down the name of the person you speak to. I will be out of contract in 10 months. They wanted me to sign up for an additional 48 months and remove $8 off my payments per month. I chose not to. If a technician comes out. They will take it out an additional fee out of your checking account Beware. Once you sign up. You are stuck! LP

      If I could leave a zero I would. They give you a statement saying you owe this amount of money then take extra money out. Call and they say that they can justify it and what not. Then why not put it on the statement and break it down on what I owe and be upfront about it. Also charged me in advance a month when the month wasn't even over with.

      I've been a customer for 28 years and mistakenly over paid them by $3000 in April, 2025. After seven calls, multiple emails and hours on hold, I still do not my refund.

      I was trying to cancel my service today and as I was talking with the lady she explain it would take about 5 minutes which I said no problem. Thought about 5 minutes she was trying to get me to stay with the company and giving me discounted rates which I politely declined finally after the last time she tried to give me a better quote I said no abruptly and she hung up on me. I called back called the system canceled yet there's a 30-day period and would be charged thru Aug 18, but they would prorate it. ***? I haven't used the service in over a year, shouldn't i be getting a refund for the prorated month? Bad business all around

      I have had ADT for 2 years. When I sold my house I was given the option to pay $700 cancellation or get a device I could use in my rental house. I chose the 2nd option. I was paying for the service, but had some time between the day I sold my house to the day I moved into the rental. Figured it wasnt a big deal as I was paying for the service. After multiple calls from ADT **** ranging from not knowing why they called me to telling me I had to pay $700, it was infuriating that they couldnt figure it out. I eventually received a debt collection and after calling multiple times and being on the phone for hours at a time. I finally got an answer of oh you are on ADT + not pro anymore and the two programs do not talk to one another. Additionally every time I called I received a different answer. I asked them to go back to the recordings as calls are recorded but nope and they were not willing to work with me. I do like the unit, I DO NOT like the customer service. As soon as my contract is up. I am DONE with ADT.

      Worst customer service. I have been trying to cancel my service for over a year. I have been charged two yearly payments for a house I no longer live in. They have records of me cancelling the account, they just can't cancel it in their accounting system. I have spent hours on the phone passed from department to department with no luck. There seems to be no one at ADT that can actually cancel my service and return my payments.
