This company was paid $30,000.00 in full to complete my hurricane windows and sliding doors. My doors still have not passed inspection because they removed ************** and structural engineer and building department said it must be replaced. I have contacted them numerous times and it's still not done after 1 year and 7 months since it failed inspection. The installers also installed the doors and hardware backwards and had to be fixed. That was corrected but my beam is not and still has not passed inspection. I cannot sell my house until that is completed.

We are working with our engineer to get this fixed and completed, with a letter to be submitted to the building department for the inspection. Once we get the netter needed from the engineer we will review and speak with ***** on a time frame to remove doors, replace aluminum tube with a steel column. We are sorry it is taking longer than expected.

Our sliding glass door track is defective. Armorvue acknowledges this. I contacted them in October about the problem of noise and bumping when opening and closing the glass slider. They sent a technician to replace the door rollers. I waited 1 month for replacement rollers and this was after several calls to ***, the service manager. When the second technician replaced the supposedly defective rollers I noticed at that time the lower track had bumps on it. I contacted the manager who told me the manufacturer was no longer in business and he would try to locate a track that would fit our door. After weekly phone calls to *** he finally said he found a track and would send someone over at a time agreed on. The technician did not come and when I called I was told the installer was hurt. *** then sent a technician out to replace the track. The technician started by rubbing oil at the bumps. I told him I wanted the track replaced. He said he did not feel comfortable replacing the track. My husband called *** to request he send someone else to do the job. He was told his installer was hurt and he was unsure when that employee would be available. We have a lifetime warranty for the door and I feel Armorvue has been stalling correcting this problem. I would appreciate any feedback from you or any support you could give me.

The door she has was fixed. We had to find the part that was needed to fix her issue. We removed the entire door and reset with new bottom track, the customer was happy.

Armorvue installed two new hurricane resistant glass doors on 4/20/2022 off my kitchen. They processed the building permits, etc. for the wrong doors resulting in the city inspection to fail on 5/18/2022. They advertised project completion through the final inspection. Despite many telephone conversations they have not yet , over 6 months, filed the correct permits or scheduled a new inspection.

I am rejecting this response because: Due to many attempts, I will not remove my complaint until both doors have been successfully inspected and the job completed to my satisfaction.

    Sincerely,

I hired Armourvue over 1 year ago. due to covid the delivery of product was delayed. once most of my windows came in they sent sub contractors out to install partial product. took 3 days, very neat, good people no complaints. this was 3/22. in between march and June, *** had multiple no shows, multiple cancellations with zero communication unless I reached out to them. June they could not get the sub contractors to come back to finish the job due to him going to rehab, as I was told. the project manager "***"came out to put in the remaining product in himself. approx 3 weeks after that they called for the final inspection. much to my surprise. the entire project. all my windows, all my doors, all my sliders have failed inspection.. they did not put in most of the required screws to hold in place, as well as all my windows needed new brackets to support the thicker impact window frame. inspector told me all of the windows and doors need to removed and replaced properly. in addition I have one slider door that instead of cutting into the interior concrete foundation they bumped the slider out framing it with vinyl framing. I have no roof over hang, nothing to protect it from the elements of outside. the engineer did not plan for this prior to them installing.. I am currently still waiting for armourviu to make this project right. *** the project manager had told me he is getting the engineer to write up a letter so we can pass inspection,, not adhering to the advice of ************** City Inspector. ********* has been funded in full, since I financed this project.. they submitted for payment on day one with finance company and when I called finance company to ask why did you fund they are not finished they said they pay when it is 50% installed. at the time it was not.. on top of that I still owed a portion of my deposit, which I had to pay in order for them to call for final inspection otherwise they would not call for inspection. why won't they finish my job?

We at Armorvue did have some issues with this customers Installation. But to date the only thing left is to get her permit renewed through the county as it has expired in the process.  And we have to reorder again one panel for her patio door that came from the factory with a scratch in the glass. I do have a engineering letter from or engineer stating the build out on the patio door for the that the inspector had asked for. All other issues have been addressed. Once we get this permit renewed I will let the customer know and get this inspection done.

We got the inspection from the city and final inspection has passed today. Only thing we have left is a panel for a patio door that falls under service part of the warranty.

    Thank You
