    This business has continually stated incorrectly via constant mailings that someone owes AdventHealth Winter Park hospital money. The hospital has confirmed that there are no charges outstanding yet the letters will not cease. The business has no representatives that are able to be reached and phone calls and emails are not returned.

    Knowtion Health has been diligent in returning calls, sending letters and emails to assist the patient in resolving the claim. However, there have been factors outside of anyones control, such as the recent hurricanes, that have hindered some return calls due to area codes being part of the affected areas under the State of Emergency. Currently, the *** form is still needed by BC/BS. Knowtion Health has provided an additional form for the patient or family to complete and return. To date, this information has not been received.

    This is not a satisfactory answer because the business is trying to collect a debt that does not exist. We ask that the business contact Advent Health to check the balance. This member does not owe any money to BC/*********************

    Our company does not engage in debt collection from patients, and that was not the nature of this patient contact. We serve as patient advocates,assisting patients in providing necessary information to their health insurance to ensure claims are successfully paid to the hospital for the services provided. In many cases, denied or delayed claims can be overturned,potentially limiting the financial burden of the patient.

    We recommend contacting AdventHealth directly for further resolution of this claim with the health system and/or insurance provider.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    There is no patient advocacy occurring in this case. RSource is using outdated information to send misinformation to the member regarding a charge that has already been settled and paid. I will accept a resolution from the business provided they provide written correspondence that they will not contact this member again regarding this claim as it has been settled between ************ and the member.
