Paid 11 thousand dollars for motor replacement. Had multiple issues after i received the car back. Then about 5 months later the motor blew and i took the car to ****** and their findings were that the fault lies with installation but the owner of Velocity Factor refuses to fix the issue. The owner is now lying and trying to place the blame on me. He also placed parts on my motor without permission and charged me for it.

Lets start by saying that this is the second engine this customer has broken both times from his negligence. The first engine he admitted that he "forgot to change the oil" we rescued car from dealership as they denied warranty. We installed a brand new engine from ****** please see attach receipt. installed it properly on car. car ran great! we made him perform 3 oil changes before 500 miles to ensure engine would break in clean. we specialize in these cars and so we know exactly what they need. 9 months go by we never hear back from ***** Until one day he calls and Says : I hit a large pot hole or curb at night and I need to get the car towed in the bottom engine panel is all hanging down and engine is making noise" we said no problem go ahead and tow it in lets see the damage. We have pics of car up on tow truck upon arrival if needed. Funny how ***** neglects to tell the whole story. anyhow. I personally went to the dealership to pick up a brand new engine cover while the technicians performed a past due oil change. when I got Back I checked the oil level installed the lower engine shield and test drove car without any noises. I called him he came to pick up the car. Apparently the car started getting a Rod knock noise as he went back to the dealership and they called me so I went to check it out. Both myself and the dealership concurred that this is from a hit that the engine suffered from the bottom and has nothing to do with anyone's craftsmanship as the engine ran perfect without any noise for 9 months. as per the Extra expense he talks about we told him to install a new clutch while we were putting new engine in as it was more than 50% worn and that would save him $1200 in the near future. we installed it at no extra labor charge. we have outstanding reviews and have been in business for 22 years without any complaints like this. If this car was driven and maintained properly and never got hit from the bottom none of this would have happened.

    Sincerely yours,

I took the car to ****** of coconut creek. It has been determined that it's a broken timing belt tensioner. Velocity Factor did not do their job and actually check to see what the issue was. Instead he tried to get me to fraud my insurance and make up a claim that I got into an accident. Velocity Factor also tried to fraud ****** to get them to cover the car. I've given ****** the messages and the pictures of our conversations. I've sold the car I no longer need to do anything with this claim. It's just people need to know that Velocity Factor is a 3rd rate company that scams customers. This company needs to be looked into for fraud. The owner himself told me he has done it multiple times to get cars covered and that he has an inside "guy" that pushes them thru. But I have already given everything to ******
