On February 19, 2024 I paid a $2000 deposit to Man of War LLC to participate in what I thoght was a competition to see who could complete what sold to me as a very mentally and physically difficult challenge. It was my understanding that those who completed would be part of an exclusive group of elite level men. Upon signing a contract and going through an "onboarding process" I paid my deposit and agreed to make payments until the balance was paid. to date I have now paid $2489 dollars. Once entered into the group, i received access to the internet forum they used to present the course work. I also began to consume lots of the company content on youtube.Soon I came to realize that the "Crucible" event i thought I signed up for was not an event at all but rather an initiation process that required my submission. As an independent ********* I do not participate in initiation rituals and I do not give authority to anyone over me, other than God. These ideologies were not presented to me in the onboarding process nor were they explained in the contract. I have written multiple emails to the Men of War LLC administration and also direct to President ********** himself, explaining my situation, my religious beliefs and asking for a full refund. To date I have not received any communication. All attempts to contact them have been ignored.I am seeking your help in resolving this issues. I understand the contract was very clear about no refunds but considering the over arching ideology of the program was not explained to me, nor layed out in the contract, and as it conflicts with my religious beliefs, I feel it is not only fair but necessary that the money be returned to me and Man of War LLC makes changes to their intake procress to ensure others are not put in the situation i am.

************** came to us well versed in what this program was about. He extensively researched us before entering our training.

This is part of his application:

      *******************************:
      why are you applying?

I feel inspired to do something big with my life and re-enter the stadium of competitive life. This ********, Man-Maker, full testosterone challenge is exactly what I need to ****** me back up and refocus my mind."

He lied regarding his lack of knowledge when his payments were due. He enrolled in our service, received our coaching and training. He signed a legal binding contract and failed to make the payments. As we speak, he is still active in our groups. He has violated every part of the agreement and refuses to pay his final installments. He still owes Man of War over $3000. Our company's goal is to build strong men who are great fathers, husbands and leaders. We do not bring on liars and men who are dis-honorable. Our testimonials from men throughout the world support who we are as a company. We are a reputable organization with hundreds of men who believe in our mission. It is men like this who attempt to deceive others with their blatant lies. We will pursue this debt to the fullest extent of the law.

I am rejecting this response because:

As you can see by ***************** poorly put together response, he has missed the entire point of my demand for refund.

As confirmed by his quote by me, you can see that I thought I was signing up for a challenge, not to submit to an ideological, cult like program that requires my submission.

Let it also be made clear that Rafa is the one lying. I have not been active on his platform since my withdrawal and I have not received any coaching from Rafa. In fact his claim of coaching is also a lie, unless one considers posting old zoom meetings to an online forum as coaching.

I was well aware of the payment plan which I was actively paying and even took time to email his administration asking for an extension when I had a major expense come up.

I was fully invested in utilizing what I thought was a program that would bring out the best in me, not a program that required me to submit to the ideological program of a man who I can see is far less intelligent than myself.

As mentioned in my complaint, I was not told about the ideological elements of his program, the need to submit and the concept of "initiation", not in the intake and not in the contract.

It's for this reason, I believe I deserve a refund and why I believe **** needs to own up to this mistake and make it clear that this program is not a challenge, but rather a ritual initiation.

And further to the lying, **** claims on his website that his "brotherhood of men" is the fastest growing men's organization in the world. This is not true. Sacred Sons is exponentially bigger and growing exponentially faster.

Rafa also claims to have coached over ****** men. But has only been out of the police force for 3-4 years. If he coached each man just one hour each, it would take him 5 years or coaching 8 men a day. And giving one man, one hour is hardly coaching.

Rafa is a liar who uses a hard sell process to rush people into his program and then hides behind his iron clad contract, and does this after asking a large deposit.

It is my intention to bring awareness to the BBB that Men of War uses aggressive sales and marketing combined with deceptive messaging to lure people into contracts they can't get out of, before forcing their ideology on their clients and doin the bare minimum to be considered "coaching".

      Sincerely,

      *******************************

I have sent multiple requests to the company for a refund. I even suggested a partial refund as I understand they do have some costs with intaking a new client but to date the company is not responding.

They have not answered a single one of my emails.

This individual signed an agreement, was given access to the coaching community, was active in this community, his food, lodging and uniforms were ordered for the event he signed up for and then he decided to re-neg. He violated the terms of the agreement and we will be pursuing the total collection plus attorney fees moving forward.
