*** decided to run a 12$ football special to grade cards. As a single dad I decided to send in a chunk of cards I had raw grading done to by ***. Basically theyll grade your cards and not put them in a slab, for a lesser price. I had 40 cards pre graded including a very valuable ****** ******* silver Prizm rookie. All 40 received minimum 9.5 grades. Meaning theyre ALL GEM MINT!!! All of them. My ****** ******* silver was a 10. I have over 100 pictures of this particular card. I have scans, pictures and zoomed in, high detail pictures. The card they slabbed is NOT MY CARD!!!!!!! They switched out my card for a different one, Id suggest maybe they damaged it by accident, but I just checked. Theyre different cards. Completely different. This is highly egregious. The difference in value is over 1000$ it should have been a gold label pristine 10. The card I sent them was for sure. So what I wanna know, did sgc run a football special just so their employees could switch out expensive cards??? They have no phone number to call them. At all. I spent over 500$ grading these cards. They took over 20 days and then sent me 24 9.5 graded cards, 10 grade ten cards, and the rest (all the expensive ones) are vastly undergraded. They need to replace my ****** ******* pristine card and refund for for the other 10 vastly undergraded cards. Thats it. The card has to be replaced and the replacement needs to be absolutely pristine, like the one I sent in was. In addition they need to refund the other 10 that they vastly undergraded. This is the first step in filing a lawsuit as I have to exhaust all options. I need this made right and a phone call from a high up supervisor, they need to know their employee is switching out cards that arent numbered. Im very grateful that I took so many pictures and scans. Therefore I know theyre perfect. They need to cover the difference in value.Initial Complaint

This company has a service to grade sports cards for $15. I submitted my card. It was from the 60s of an above average reputation. I had no professional knowledge of card grading and it seems wises to get a third party to do this. My problem is that it was labeled altered not from a standard 1-10 scale. From the correspondence Ive had is they believe in the lifetime of this card it was trimmed, erased and or color added. So I asked what was altered on my card and they said no notes are retained for such things. Now I preserved this card after aquir8ng it in the late eighties/early nineties, in thick plastic. It has been sitting in a dark box for the better part of three decades. Entrusting these folks to give an honest grade, but like I conveyed to the representative, I have a scarlet letter on my card now with no justification. Hello, I was out of town when this was "delivered" I paid for signature delivery. The mail carrier signed "for me" and left the package elsewhere. I contacted *** and **** numerous times. **** finally ruled in my favor and provided partial refund $113.52. I have reached out to *** dating back to September 2024 and have gotten no where. ***** ****** and ***** *** were the last email agents who have not replied to updates. I have since reached out to my credit card company and they can only open a case for the value of the grading ($330) and shipping ($33) . However this does not cover the full insured value of the item $1225.00. I believe I have been as patient as can be considering all the time, effort and value lost during this entire process. i sent a card into be graded i got it back in mail yesterday the card was damaged i sent emails back and fourth they sent me label to send card back and was told if they find it was there fault they would pay market value however this is a rare card only 25 produced never come up for sale i sent pictures to them showing card before it was mailed to them with no damage the grade the card got was i believe given to mask there mistake they graded the card a 9 to make me think we messed up this is remedy problem is with the damage the grade has it would never grade that high i cannot send the card back this is a once in a lifetime item i would never get the card back i would never be able to replace cardCustomer Answer

Sen* in cards w declared value of $50,000 and paid $250 each for 3 cards I *hough* were valued above $7,500. They graded very low a* 7s and only have final value of $100 each ye* *hey refuse *o adjus* my accoun* *o reflec* an $18 charge per cards less *han $1,000 in value, so *hey basically are keeping $700 more *han should be charged. Very une*hical a* *he leas* especially for someone who paid$2,400 and was firs* *ime having *hem grade cards. I*s been a week now and a manager was supposed *o be reaching ou* and I s*ill haven* heard from *hem. Comparing 20qty *** cards that I paid them to grade do grade much lower than the exact same cards that PSA has graded for me. There is a reason why PSA take 4 ************ takes less than 30 days. This is because SGC doesn't know what they are doing. They are very inconsistent. I will be opennning there slabs & re sending cards to PSA. I will pay more & wait longer for a higher quality evaluation. This is why **** authentication uses PSA. SGC is turning cards so fast that they obviously have inexperienced graders who do not know the industry. SGC recently got there name from a **** Topps ************************* that was gem mint to begin with. As a long time collector I would never purchase an SGC rated card or send them any cards to be graded. As a 30 year professional I know the markets. There inexperience is proven if you compare the same cards to PSA. This company is way inexperienced & should not be in business. Apparently there CEO is not a professional. Turning cards way to fast & its all about the money in there pocket. I will be informing everyone in the card markets.Initial Complaint

I have sent cards to be graded and 4 times now .They have stolen my shipping money from me, they charge $30 for shipping so 2 times now $60 , they sent my cards back **** both times, but I paid for FedEx!There methods have cost me money each time cards were shipped back **** , I paid $30 each time and they sent it back through ****.Which the cost is only $8 for them doing it that way!And they will not refund me my extra money for them shipping back as cheap as they can!They don't offer any money back for what they have stolen from me!And product has come back damaged and they don't care one bit
