    We are going on to 7 days without air conditioning. My husband is 86 years old and General Air has not shown any remorse or concern for our well being. The manager, *****, is rude and the mechanics are useless. As per my attached description of what has been going on, General Air should give us a new air conditioning unit free of charge. No one seems to know how to fix the air conditioning unit that they installed 4 years ago. They just keep installing compressors that burn out within hours. Today the mechanic said we might need a new compressor. That's now the solution. It will burn out again just like the other ones. 5 compressors were installed and 5 burned out. Doesn't that tell you the compressor is not the problem? Please help us get this situation resolved. Again, my husband is an 86 years old ************ Veteran and I'm 77. General Air doesn't care and they are not professionals. Thank you.

    General Air came out to our house after 7 days of no air conditioning and replaced the exterior condensing unit. As of today's date, the air condition is working properly and we are comfortable. Also, as of today's date, we have not been charged for the labor or condensing unit. 

    As long as it continues to work properly and we are not charged for the labor or unit, my husband and I are satisfied. We will, however, not be using General Air again. They are totally unreliable, unprofessional and uncaring.

    Continuing..Vendor installed an air conditioning (AC) unit in my home several years ago. From the start, the unit has not worked properly. Vendor has come out to service the unit dozens of times, typically, but not exclusively, for the same isssue (Clogged lines; water pan over flowing in attic, compressor). Ive requested the owner (***************************; ************; ********************** get personally involved to find a long term solution, specially to replace the unit (I.e. its a lemon. He hasnt been very responsive and now he wont answer my calls. ********************** is a convicted felon (2014 corruption) in Cuyahoga County, ****. He seems to have brought his wayward ways to southwest Floridas. I am retired military. Please advise on what my next steps should be, including what other ** agencies I should contact and how I can warn my neighbors to think twice before they hire this company (social media?). Thank you

    I have read through the complaint by *************************** in reference to my companies services to his residence in Florida. We did install a new system in their house and to this day we are still there maintaining the system and working on the house ac systems. We have just again spoken to ******************* and do not believe he will follow through with his threats since there are no reasons to. In regards to his accusations i will keep that to myself for now but will follow through with whatever is required if he is to pursue this any further. We have contracts for thousands of houses in the sw Florida portion of the state and believe that we come highly recommended by the majority of people and live on our reputation of SW Florida.     I am rejecting this response because:


    Please reioen this case.  Same repair issues persist.  Vendor has been to
    our property more than half a dozen times in the last few months.  Same
    problems persist.  Ive paid over $1000 in labor costs recently still no
    fix.  Now they estimate further work at $3000.  This system is a lemon and I
    need your help getting the owner to do the right thing and replace this
    lemon. Please contact me directly regarding next steps.  Owner renaged on an
    offer to replace the unit.
    Help!  Its hot!

    we respond to a clients request to look at different air conditioning problems. ******************** continues to keep our company as his ac contact even though he has choices to pick another. there is nothing g wrong with the unit but they do need a new line set which we did not install originally to them. they continually request a new system. & we have offered to send a different company for a second option & they have never said yes to this idea. we try & make all clients happy which you can never do . ***********************;

    I am rejecting this response because:

    the system continues to repeatedly fail for the same reason.  Specifically, the attic overflow pan collocated with with the air handler fills with water and in turn shuts down the system.  Any issues with the copper lines are unrelated to this continuing problem.  Despite repeated requests for a copy of the test report regarding the copper line issue, vendor has not provided the report.  Has only shared a repair estimate. FL State Attorney General has also received a complaint.
