    I dropped off my 2016 **** A6 for repairs that occurred during an accident. The repairs were confined to mostly the drivers side but there was some minor updates on the right front passenger side. After the repairs were made and immediately upon pick up I noticed a difference in the passenger front seat. The seat is different from when I dropped off. Pictures taken before (by Precision) and after by me clearly show a difference. I have already mentioned this to Precision who indicated they did not doing anything on that side of the car. I also sent 2 email follow *** that have gone unanswered. Note - There is clearly a difference in the passenger seat and it does not even match the other 3 seats in the car. The passenger seat texture is different. There is "puckering" in the seats and material hardness that was not there when I dropped off. Something clearly happened to the original seat and looks to be replaced with what is currently in the car. This is definitely not the same seat that was in the car at drop-off.

    In response to our customers concerns, we confirm that we did not change, or do any work near the passenger seat area of the 2016 **** that was repaired.  As part of the process, we have photos of the damage and repairs completed and you can clearly see that there was no damage severe enough to impact the interior of the vehicle.  The predominant area of repair occurred on the drivers side of the vehicle and is clearly shown in the before photos.  The insurance company was not billed for any passenger side damage and there was absolutely no reason to remove the passenger side seat for any repair.  What I can say for certain is there was absolutely NO reason to change the customers passenger side seat.  There would have been no financial gain in any way for me, or my business, in changing out the passenger seat.  I am not in agreement to replace the passenger seat that I did not remove, damage or replace.  We have been in business, at the same location, serving the community for over 30 years and I have never been accused of such an act.  We will not be intimidated with false accusations.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Precision states that they did no work on the passenger side of the vehicle. This is not correct. There was scuffing and minimal paint damage on the passenger side and this was logged with State Farm. Precision did in fact remove the scuffing on the passenger side and cleaned up the appearance. The owner even mentioned this to me when I picked up the vehicle. When they indicate they did not work on that side of the vehicle that is not correct. In the photos you can clearly see that the appearance of the passenger seat is different in the before and after photos. The passenger seat does not match completely and looks to be from a different **** vehicle (older/different model). The seat I have now has a hard plastic feel bottom, not leather and there are bubbles in the material on the upper left top of the seat. These are visible in the after photo but not the before photo. Also, the before photo show more definition and leather like features and similarity to the drivers seat. The after photo shows a difference. 

    I am not trying to make false accusations or trying to s**** over any one. That is not my style. I am stating what I see and FEEL of the seat before and afterwards and is not the same as I dropped off. I have no way of knowing what happened to my vehicle after I dropped it off. I only know that when I picked it up there is a difference in the seat look feel and appearance. Also, I know its hearsay, but my family says the seats feels different and is not what they have been used to sitting in. There are ******+ miles on the vehicle. My family has sat in this seat a lot and knows what that seat looked and felt like before I dropped off and they are indicating to me that something is different. 

    If we cannot come to some agreement here, I will proceed with court actions. This is not a threat just the next step to resolve a missive issue that I feel as a customer I have been taken advantage of.

    All photos support that there was no damage sustained that would have impacted the interior of the car.  There was absolutely no reason to remove the passenger seat.  There would have been no financial gain to me or my business to change out a seat for no reason.  We stand by our work and the 30+ years in business.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Please take a look at the differences in the seat with the before and after pics I have provided. I have even zoomed in and circled the puckering and texture difference from before and after I dropped off. Can you explain the differences? The seats do not look the same. You can tell that from the pictures. I can't tell what happens to my vehicle when I drop it off. Could it be that the original was swapped out by an employee for another without you noticing? Plausible, Maybe something was spilled on the original seat and cause the damage? You worked on the front passenger side to remove scuffing from the accident. Also, There was another **** sedan, similar to mine, when I picked up the vehicle. Maybe the seat was swapped for that one? I don't know. All i know is the look, feel and comfort of the seat are different. 

    Take a look at the pictures and tell me you do not see a difference. If you don't see a difference then we can go to court and let a judge decide. He/She will see the pics and I will have the car available for inspection at the court date, if necessary.

    We stand by our statement.  There is no reason to impact the interior of the car to remove "scuffing".  There was no reason to remove the seat.  There were no damages to the seat and there was no reason to "swap out a seat" with another vehicle in our possession.
