      Thank you for your response, but I must firmly disagree with your version of events.

      I attempted to cancel well within the 3-day period, but was never provided any documents or written contract to reference. To this day, I still have not received a copy of anything I supposedly signed. This is not only unethical, but illegal. 

      The "digital signing" process was completely inappropriate. The sales representative presented documents on a cell phone screen that was zoomed in, preventing me from reading or reviewing any of the terms. I was not given a chance to review the contract in full nor consult with family members. In fact, I specifically asked to speak to my family before signing and was pressured and denied that opportunity.

      I am an elderly veteran and was targeted using high-pressure, manipulative tactics. This was predatory behavior that took advantage of my age, trust, and good nature. The entire transaction was conducted in a way that deprived me of a fair understanding of what I was agreeing to.

      No proper disclosures were presented. I was not informed of my cancellation rights in any meaningful way, and Paradise Exteriors cannot claim that proper disclosures were provided when I was never given the opportunity to read or receive the documents.

      I maintain that this contract is the result of fraudulent, deceptive, and unethical sales practices, and I am requesting that this agreement be voided in full.

      If this matter is not resolved, I am fully prepared to escalate the issue to:

      Sales Process & Contract Confirmation
      This project originated from an in-home consultation conducted by one of our trained representatives. We confirm that the customer voluntarily signed a digital contract using a secure and timestamped platform. Our records show that all mandatory disclosures were presented at the time of signing, including:
      Itemized pricing and scope of work
      Terms and conditions of the agreement
      The Florida-required 3-day right to cancel, which is clearly displayed and acknowledged at the time of signature

      The customer did not submit a cancellation request within the rescission window, and no objections or concerns were communicated to us during that period.

      We do not agree with the characterization that the representative used high-pressure tactics or misled the customer. ********************** sales staff are trained to inform not coerce and to always allow homeowners time to review the offer, consult with others, or decline. The special pricing referenced was part of a promotional discount program that is routinely offered and clearly documented, not an artificial or fabricated deadline.

      The customers acknowledgment of pricing, scope, and consent was captured digitally and securely, and we have no evidence of misrepresentation or misconduct on the part of our representative.

      Pricing Transparency
      Our pricing reflects high-performance, impact-rated products engineered for Floridas climate, combined with full professional installation and warranty coverage. While every homeowner is entitled to compare providers, differences in scope, materials, certifications, and service levels can result in a wide range of pricing and we encourage homeowners to compare complete, like-for-like proposals.

      Resolution Position
      We regret that this customer now feels regret about their decision. However, the agreement was signed willingly, and the cancellation period has passed. At this time, Paradise Exteriors intends to move forward with the agreement as signed. All materials, labor scheduling, and permit preparations will proceed in accordance with the contract.
      We remain open to answering any questions the customer may have about their project timeline, materials, or next steps.

      I am rejecting this response because: If you know you would not covered something you installed on my house then you should have not sell this product. I purchase this sliding glass door from your salesman who visited our house and told all windows and doors are covered. So what about the front door that you install, are you telling me this is not covered under the policy also. You can not sell something and tell us we are not responsible for the doors, only windows.

      Warranty Coverage Scope:
      We understand the homeowners concern regarding damage to their sliding glass door. However, its important to clarify that the accidental glass breakage clause included in our warranty applies only to windows, not doors. Specifically, the warranty states:
      Should a panel of glass in a window installed by Paradise Exteriors be broken accidentally, Paradise Exteriors will replace and install the panel at no charge.
      Limited to 2 window panels per 12 months.
      The sliding glass door referenced in this complaint does not fall under this clause. Therefore, damage to sliding glass doors is not eligible for free replacement, even under full warranty coverage.

      Resolution Offered
      To assist the homeowner despite the exclusion, Paradise Exteriors offered a discounted replacement cost of $1,670 for the sliding glass door. This offer was made as a goodwill gesture, and is significantly below market rate, in recognition of the customers prior investment.

      We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the terms of coverage and assist with a cost-effective resolution.

      When your sales woman first came out I identified the issue of the floor right from the very beginning. She told me there wouldnt be any problem and that your company had dealt with this before. So you are wrong that no issues were identified for a typical installation.The door itself looks like it was properly put in and correct to code. Its the v gap space between the threshold and the floor that wasnt addressed right. The sales representative who conducted the standard visual inspection total missed it. They must need glasses because you cant miss it. Im not asking to take out the original threshold that came with the door and replace it with another. I just want them to put something over that v space between the floor and the threshold to make it seamless and that looks right. By doing so all codes and warranties stay intact. If you cant agree to that, then something is very wrong.  I/we just want what was promised to us from the start. If you couldnt do that then why did you take the job? We would have hired some other company.

      my Mom uses a ****** and her wheels always get stuck in the gap. We have called multiple times to complain and they don't answer. We leave messages and they won't return our calls. I would think twice about using this company. Most companies would at least try to fix any issues. This one never made any attempt at all.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      When your sales woman was told what was needed to be done to make the job satisfactory when complete and that was communicated to the powers to be to make it happen, it was your job as a company to come up with a plan of execution to get it done that included all building codes and warranties in the process. Obviously that didnt happen. While installing the door, the guy flat out said he didnt know how to do what we wanted and would do his best to make it look good. He also said your company would have to send out someone else that would do the final finish to our specifications. You never sent anybody out. You now want us to accept an unfinished job because of the company's failure to think about all aspects of it. If Paradise did the job right we wouldnt be where we are today. Now Paradise is hiding behind those codes and warranties to not finish the job. That is disgraceful. I worked in installation for years and we as a company never did what this company is doing. We came sometimes more than once to complete the job as promised. Ive talked to a lot of people and they all came up with this same conclusion. Do the right thing for God's sake. Is that too much to ask for? Based on what the company has written so far it is.

      A warranty claim was submitted and the windows repairs were not resolved. At this time an inquiry was conducted with the insurance company who advised the damage was due to faulty installation.  An engineer is being consulted as well due to the company not following up to ensure the repairs for the warranty claim have been completed, since the company refuses to respond to any phone calls or speak with me as their client.

      mpted to contact the company to have someone do a follow-up inspection to ensure this was the root cause of the damage and to get next steps on fixing the interior damage. Each time I call I get a female receptionist who advised someone will call me by the end of the week. I have yet to receive a follow-up phone call or any attempts from the company to follow-up. I have expressed several times that there is mold buildup that is occurring and as recent as 02/18 mold has started to seep through the paint. The cabinets molded immediately and the house smells overwhelmingly like mold. The installer looked at the issue and told me it was not his problem. Due to a language barrier there was little communication be myself and the installer. The installer spoke Spanish and had to use ****** translate to communicate. Additionally, after the installer left, I can no longer open my living room window. I would like a resolution to this problem before my family and myself become sick.

      The customer has had no issues since the installation in February 2022. 

      Two and a half years later, a hurricane caused water infiltration in her home.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Until the hurricane, we did not receive weather to expose the damaged areas. Your windows are rated hurricane impact windows. No other house in the area with the original build windows obtained damage or water damage. The manager was called once a warranty was submitted and advised that the installer did not properly seal the windows and when the installer came back in Dec., they advised that the problem was there were no weep holes installed in the windows in order for the water to drain out.

      This problem would not have discoverable had a hurricane not occurred.  I am in no way and window inspector and relied solely on the company who informed me that the installation was properly done. A hurricane does not exempt the fact that the drainage system for the windows was not there. If it was, no damage would have been caused to the home.

      ***** *******id the glass, went on their website to find out that it has a 20year warranty. Back to Paradise customer service, who told me to contact ***. I called *** on February 5 to find out that it's the door distributor ****************. I talked to their service **** that said I had to pay for the glass $1053. They could send someone out to see what caused the breakage and I would have to pay $300. After all this time it's back on me. I have saved all emails, papers from the company etc. I have made calls and researched all of this. The run around has got to stop. I have a front door that is not safe and obviously I have not used the door since I found it shattered. I have attached two pictures of the glass. Also, these products are hurricane impact windows and doors....

      Windows we're installed August 13. Black windows frames for the front windows came with white screens. Broken windows sill Bent window frames on two . Have 3 representives have come and gone. The black paint is done very poorly, you can see the white from the street. It is late October and I was told the my problems will be fixed around the 10th of November. I can't open the windows because I still don't have the screens.

      I understand that they have to get permits for this. But why is it so long. 3 men measured the windows  how one has bern missing  why wasnt I told this when other windows were installed?  I signed the contract Feb 27

       They also left **** ***** that was dangerous. I feel like they have my money and are not pushing completion.  I need to get my house back together. I need this pushed through soon
