*****, the owner of Palm Beach Rescreen came to my house and quoted $375 to rescreen my home rear porch and front door entry way. The rear porch was only on the walls and door to open patio, and not the roof. The front entry way was the entire structure - door, side panels, archway.I gave him $50 cash on the spot so he could "go to ********** and get the materials [he] needed". He said he could knock it out "that day", Thursday, January 26th. I wrote him a check for $300, which he cashed. The business address is less than 5 miles from my home.He returned later that day and completed the back porch, but stated he could not finish and would come back the next day. He came on Friday, and finished a portion of the front entry. Since I wasn't home, I left a check for $75, which was the balance plus the extra $50 because he promised to have it complete. He didn't contact me to tell me it wasn't finished. I found it when I got home. I had to contact him. Despite *****'s promises in texts and phone calls of completing Saturday the 28th, Monday the 30th and today, Tuesday the 31st, he has not completed the work. The excuses vary. He promises a time and says he is busy doing other work, or doesn't have the trim, or the right tool. I kept the texts. I have pictures of the incomeplete work

On Friday, July 15, ************************* came to our house to give us a quote to rescreen, pressure wash, and repaint our patio. We signed a contract for this work on Sunday, July 17 and provided him $500 as a down payment. He was supposed to start work the following day, Monday, July 18 around 9am. At 9:30am he said he was just running a little behind but was in his way. Said he had car trouble and didnt show on Monday. Promised he would be there first thing Tuesday morning. Finally showed up closer to noon and promised he would work all day. He left at 3;30pm after only removing the screen and pressure washing. Every day since then he has promised he was on his way and would be there that day. By Thursday, July 21, se asked for a refund. On Friday, July 22, he asked for one more chance to complete the work. He said he would be here first thing this morning. He has not showed up and isnt responding to any of our calls or text messages. This business is a total scam. If you look on ******* he has done this same scam to multiple people where he takes a hefty deposit and doesnt complete the work. We would like a refund and damages, but more importantly, we do not want this person to be able to continue to scam innocent people out of their hard earned money.
