    This is a scam! I paid $1 for a trial and had five days to cancel. I have until 6/24/24, when it will then begin charging me a $39.97 monthly membership fee. I just called (6/23/24) the number I was prompted when I clicked on "Cancel Membership" (833) ********, beginning at 7:35pm CT) the number to cancel my trial. I called it several times within 30 minutes and received the same automated response, informing me that "Nobody's available to take my call and please try back later". However, their business hours are listed as "Sunday-Saturday 8AM-11PM ET". It also looks like they may have changed the name of the business to avoid being caught. The name that I unfortunately connected with is "PeopleSearcher". I will be calling my bank to inform them as well. WHEW!

    Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry to hear about the confusion. Our records show that you registered on our website on 06/19/2024. You paid $1 to try our service for 5 days. You also agreed to automatically enroll in a standard monthly membership for $39.97, unless you canceled before your trial expired on 06/24/2024. This is stated clearly, and directly above the button where you accept your agreement. It was also emailed directly to you in case you did not read the terms.

    Since your membership was NOT canceled, you were charged a standard monthly membership fee of $39.97 as you had agreed to at the time of registration. Your account was cancelled and fully refunded after we received your refund request. You will no longer be charged.

    Our sincere aplogies if you were not able to reach us by phone. We offer cancellation by phone, email, or web. Hopefully this resolves all outstanding issues. If you still have questions after that time, please call our customer support any day between 8am - 11pm EST.
