  They charged $189.00 to come out. Any handyman would have found the burn marks at a socket first thing. In fact one did, but the tenant would not let him change the outlet, and called Mister Sparky in The Villages, FL. He ignored the burn marks and charged us an additional $349.00 in advance to find the "problem", and then changed the outlet. They make you pay in advance, so they can rip you off. If you get a chance to use Mister Sparky I suggest you don't.

  Professional and pleasant and showed me additional things like an angle Mont for doorbell with camera. And special attachment. I highly recommend this electric company for any work.

  I have dealt with Mr ********************** in ***** and ************, **. While each service call was different, both experiences were wonderful. The technicians were prompt, courteous and very professional! The work was completed quickly. All options and pricing explained up front. I will always use Mr ********************** for future requirements and highly recommend Mr ********************** for all electrical needs to friends and family. 0

  Bottom line, TLDR: $5000, $4500, $3000, and $2500 are all TOO MUCH MONEY to pay for having 4 ceiling fans & 1 chandelier installed!! I got quotes from several vendors for following on pre-wired ceilings in brand new house: - install 4 ceiling fans & 1 chandelier - switch & recenter dining area & living area lighting in Great Room Appointment recap: - Tech first looked at breaker box, removed plate, said there's damage & it sb replaced. (There's no damage, I had someone else look) - Said there's no surge protection, there should be, it's national code. I repeatedly asked if he was saying that builder as reputable as Colen Built left out surge protection on a brand new house, he said "I'm not saying that" & shrugged his shoulders. I repeated question multiple times during his visit but he wouldn't give straight answer. I asked how house could possibly have passed Marion County inspection, he wouldn't answer that either, just said, I don't know what to tell you, but it's national code. Insisted on going to his truck and getting some book to show me a highlighted section about it - Told tech about re-centering Great Room lights & using chain to keep costs down. He said "they don't do ugly work like that", they would put different hole in ceiling & put a cap over old hole - I repeatedly said simple job, want inexpensive - Tech quoted $5000, then dropped to $4500, don't know how. Quickly showed me list of work items on tablet, but no pricing breakdown, just lump sum - Felt tech was trying to take advantage of "young" female, so I said, let's call my step-dad, he knows about this stuff, suddenly quote dropped to $3000, then $2500 & financing was available - He asked what price I would be comfortable with. I told him I had a licensed quote for $100 per fan/chandelier. He scoffed, said "you won't get anyone to do it today" - I said I wanted to think about it, pls email me quote, he agreed. Several days later, no email, no quote in writing, no pricing breakdown

  I appreciate that they could get to my project in the timeframe I needed. I have used them several times and have always gotten excellent service. The technician that came out yesterday was not aware that he would have to dig in my front yard to find the wires It was over *********************************************************************** refusing. He was very pleasant and persistent in a job that wasnt very easy! I highly recommend this company.

  Poor communication, inability or unwillingness to diagnose issues, no customer management or lack of leadership, lack of pride in work or understanding of their duties. They made little to no attempt to schedule the city inspections they said they would. That's plural because they failed five times and acted like the city was being unreasonable for expecting them to know the codes. They can afford all those vans and employees because they overcharge insane amounts. Took six months to complete a three day job. Failed to do the actual services I requested when I called them out. Repeatedly made promises they couldn't keep.
  
  Just avoid at all costs.
