    CHP installed Hurricane protection window covers for all windows of my home. I never installed or even took these coverings out of their storage bags prior to Hurricane ***. I tried to install these covers in preparation for Hurricane *** but most of the mounting holes on the covers don't match up with the holes that were put in my walls. I had to drill holes in my wall to get these coverings on before *** arrived. Since ***, I measured the holes in the coverings and the holes in the walls. The measurements don't match up, so the product was installed incorrectly, rendering it basically useless. I need this company to come to my home (before the upcoming hurricane season) and fix this product so that the mounting system matches up and can be used. Per comments on this site the company stated that they prefer email contact. I tried to email the company and the email was returned as not deliverable.

    I have addressed this issue in its entirety. I have let the customer know that we do not do installations and we are just the manufacturer of the product. I have assisted the customer in finding who installed his product and took the measurements of the home. I have left voice messages and emails with the company on behalf of the customer. Even with no response to the customer from ************************ , I am working with the customer to find a resolution to help fix his concerns. The complaint stated is at no fault to us but I am helping the customer to resolve his issues.

    Purchased Hurricane shutters from ************ which was sold and I was told the manufacturer CHP covered the 10 year warranty. I have work that needs to be done. Have contacted CHP multiple times and left messages No one ever answers the phone of calls back.

    This response was taken verbally by BBB:

    ************ sold to Westhsore Homes who is not servicing past customers. We do have a 10 year warranty, but we are not a servicer/installer. If there are defects we will replace parts. The customer would be responsible for finding an installer. In addition, our warranty does not cover damage or acts of god. Our phone system is not reliable currently. The best way to contact us is via email: ********************************* If the customer would like to email us I will open a warranty claim and we will send out one of our trusted installation companies to inspect and determine what needs to be replaced.
