    I am a fairly new lower income resident of ************ apartments in ********* ******* and I have been treated poorly by the leasing agent here since the beginning. I took it quietly until now! Yesterday I was told by them that they never received a money order I gave them a couple of weeks ago! Now I have to pay the rent again pending an investigation by the company that I bought the money order from with cash that I took from my bank after getting my only income, social security and will have to forgo much needed food for the month. I just got out of the hospital with a stress related condition and I certainly don't need more problems! I surely appreciate your help with this matter, and am glad that the BBB exists for remedies for people and problems such as mine!! Thank you so very much for your assistance and response!     Resident's $1000.00 money order payment was never missing.

    The only balance which remained was $27.00, which was never received as a 2nd money order, as Resident believed.

    Resident communicated with leasing office on 6/6/25 and apologized for reporting money order missing that was in fact never purchased.

    Resident advised they would resolve balance on 6/12/2025.
