  It took weeks of calling and texting and basically begging to get these folks to stick to their own schedule. Then when this guy finally came, he basically blamed me for his subcontractor Bruce at Five Star Services giving a bad estimate. He told me it was my job to clear dirt, despite me hiring him to remove the stump. He basically just came to complain and not work.

  First of all ***, you and I had only spoken days prior to the arrival day and time that I assured you I would be there. You had been speaking with ***** maybe for weeks before but he had just given me your name, address and phone number to get ahold of you and schedule. I had not seen the scope of ***** grinding work to be performed in advance or the accessibility scenario or tight work area and hurdles . I get to you on the scheduled day and time frame and to my utmost total dismay you are still in bed sleeping ! Once you make it outside, as my truck and trailer block traffic on your one way street, you show me an extremely difficult to access area for my equipment that you don't even have my access point ready. On top of that a very much larger than expected tree ***** per the price quoted by ***** in a tight area lie covered with weed mat and dirt, up against bushes, partially surrounded by landscape paver blocks, your pool and your stockade fence. ***** based his price on the portion that was visible as a ***** .There was a very lot of ***** that did not meet the eye that I was showing you as a drug my metal rake into the soil on top. Plus that area was close to a foot above grade to begin with. The job of preparing the area where the grinding work is to be performed is not my responsibility and not a service I offer.  I totally had every right to let you presume that I was not pleased. I certainly was there to do the work. I would not have traveled from ********* using my fuel, crossing the ************* into ************, paying tolls for a truck and trailer if I was not there to work ***. Had you done your own due diligence, been AWAKE and expecting me, things may have been better. You could have  maybe asked me nicely if I would mind helping you and  together we both work doing the prep work that should have already been done. Common Sense *** as I am sure your finding out with anyone else who comes or has come to try and grind that ***** for you. You will figure out for yourself that had the shoe been on the other foot, that I was absolutely right. Once you do then you can do the right thing here.
