On Friday July 7th, I went to Leasure Automotive to ask when I would be able to drop off my vehicle for the "free estimate" since my car's ** had stopped working. The lady at the front informed me that I could drop it off on Monday. On Monday July 10th, I dropped off my vehicle in the afternoon. On Tuesday July 11th, I received a call in which they informed me of the issue of my vehicles ** and requested my approval to repair. Trusting they would be "honest" as their slogan states, I approved for the repair $153.46. It was a relief to hear that they had found the source of the problem and I would not be suffering these hot temperatures in my vehicle anymore. I picked up my vehicle that same day after I came out from work. The ** was cooling. I was happy. My happiness did not last long because the ** was gone the following day. I literally had ** for one day! I went back to inform them about it, in less than ***************************************************************************************************************** an additional $960.24!!! I was in shock! There is no way they did not see the evaporator needed to be replaced the first time. It seems this is the way the like to do business, being dishonest with the clients. I would have appreciated if they would have told me my car needed the evaporator in the first place and not scam me $153.46. I work very hard for my money like many other people. It's not right, it is not fair, and I request a full refund!

We offer a free A/C check which includes us checking the pressure and the amount of refrigerant currently in the system. This is a free service. Based off the readings, we determined that the refrigerant was emoty. Low refrigerant indicates that there is a leak in the system. Common practice is to add dye and refrigerant. When the refrigerant leaks out the dye will allow us to find where the leak is and what needs to be repaired. It is impossible to know that the evaporator needed replacing without locating the dye that leaked from it. We sent the customer an Estimate for adding the refrigerant and dye to the system. The photo that the customer attached was a photo our shop manager sent to only to authorize the refrigerant and dye to be added. He will also explain why he is doing this. It clearly states that this is an estimate on the top of the page, and you can see the balance owed at the bottom. I have attached a copy of the paid invoice showing no balance that the CUSTOMER RECEIVED when they picked up the car and it states the "THIS IS NOT A FIX JUST TO FIND AC LEAKS". If the customer can send their paid invoice, it will state this on there as well. It was also explained at pick up that when the A/C becomes warm to bring it back so we can locate the leak and find what needs to be repaired. Depending on the size of the leak, it can take hours or weeks for the refrigerant to leak out and the A/C to become warm again. In this case, it leaked out quickly. When they returned, we found the leak at the evaporator and offered a quote for the repair. We charged $153.46 for the refrigerant and dye and gave a new customer discount of $16.03. We did not deceive, "scam" or charge for anything unfairly.
