    I called in to get a rough estimate on a specific code that was coming up on our 2008 ***** Element. As the owner or manager and I were discussing the details of the work, I had some questions. As I asked my second questions, the gentleman told me you must take your car to some other place. I will not work on your car, I will not work on your car and hung up on me. Totally unprofessional. I fully understand that business can deny work to anyone however, I was asking questions about the work he was trying to rush me in for! This is the auto mechanic world, after all. I needed to ask more questions to become comfortable with this potential brand new auto mechanic. Terrible experience. I would never allow this place to work in a vehicle of mine. DO NOT RECOMMEND

    We appreciate the opportunity to address the recent review concerning our service.

    The customer contacted us seeking a quote over the phone for a check engine light diagnosis. We informed them that, due to the nature of the issue, an accurate quote could only be provided after a detailed in-person diagnosis. We explained that our diagnostic fee is $140, and this fee would be applied towards the total repair cost if the repair was substantial. However, if the repair cost was relatively low, the diagnostic fee would not be deducted.

    The customer expressed dissatisfaction with this policy and requested that the diagnostic fee be deducted from the total cost regardless of the repair cost. When it became apparent that we could not reach a mutual agreement on this matter, we advised the customer to seek service elsewhere.

    Our goal is to provide clear and fair service, and we regret any confusion or frustration this situation may have caused. We continually strive to improve our communication and processes based on customer feedback.

    This is inaccurate. The manager on the phone said, we charge $140 for the diagnostic the fee would be considered into the total repair cost BUT only if the repair cost was sufficiently high my simple question was, how high does the cost need to be in order to get the diagnostic fee waived? The managers immediate response was, take your car somewhere else. I will not work on your car. I will not work on your car. Then proceeded to hang up on me. Even if their story had a spec of truth, you should never have hung up on a potential customer because there was a question asked. This was a wild experience. This should be posted. Totally unprofessional. Id be happy to cleanup my review/keep all words lowercase, but this should be posted for this business.
