So EWC sold me a membership by saying its cancellable and will be fully refunded- when I contacted them they said - they cannot and will only give stroe credit. They made me sign a contract in a hurry and took it back so i cant even refer to it. but this is unfair

So EWC did not give me any contract. They just made me sign it and they kept it. They did not even let me read it. Just told me sign and that I can get a refund anytime. Now they say they will just give me store credit. So in any way my money is stuck with them!

    Business Response

    Date: 06/20/2024

The guest purchased a wax pass membership with us and signed a contract that I have attached to this response. When she asked to cancel her wax pass membership I did inform her that anything she paid towards the pass would be given back as in store credit. This store credit policy is clearly stated on the contract that she signed and dated when signing up for the pass. As she was clearly upset I refunded her back on to her credit card one payment of $186 as a gesture of good will but told her the remaining $353 dollars would have to be issued in store credit as it states on the contract. She also used $85 dollars in services that we deduct from the total amount she paid for the wax pass. Our contract is not very long, and we encourage every guest who signs it to read it before signing,  AFTER thoroughly explaining to them what a wax pass is, how much it costs, and what the overall terms of the wax pass consist of. We feel we went above and beyond to make sure she knew what she was signing, we accommodated a partial refund back to her credit card while also standing by our in store credit policy and contract that she signed.
