  I was told a price of $275 + the cost of the Channel Springs which they said had to be custom made. Took one of my springs and installed two new ones at $169 each. They did not verify the Spring size to weight of the window simply replaced spring with what I had. Total fee $613 for two springs and labor. I was in shock as I paid the bill and went online to find spring replacement prices. I found ******* sent then pictures of my spring and found the right size by weighing my window. Price per spring was $12.05 and 20 minutes to replace. I'd like to return the wrong springs that MFL installed for a refund of $338 and install the correcct springs myself.

  We had a broken hinge on an old front door in our condo we had several quotes and MFL sliding doors gave us a great price and did a great job. *** and his assistant did a great job installing the door and sold us a beautiful sliding screen door. We really enjoyed our day.

  Couldn’t get the rollers on my four screen door sliders to work. Two guys from MFL came out and without even looking at the rollers pronounced them worn out and needed to be replaced. They quoted a price of $250 to replace the rollers or $500 to replace the entire door. Not happy with that cost I called another contractor (Tru-Bilt Home Improvement) who came out. He lubed the rollers, cleaned the track and re-adjusted the slider frame. Now they work perfectly and he didn’t even want to get paid for his service. So I bought his lunch. My opinion the tech at MFL was a crook trying take advantage of an elderly customer (75yrs) Kudos to Tru-Bilt for their honesty and customer service.

  lube the plastic rollers that are existing on your door will not solve the problem for the long term so we are at least happy to know you didnt pay also for that.

  
  

  second, there was no elderly woman 75 years old at job site, and we never take advantage of any people at any age.

  
  

  if you are not happy with the price we quoted, and you are happy with the service a different company provided for you thats completely fine. But submit a bad review like this, and lying about the information and situation is just un ethical and rude, and I hope people will not take example from that case.

  
  

  When your screen door will not work again (probably in the next few weeks) feel free to reach back to us again, to have it repaired and checked on the right way.

  I was not prepared for the bill I was handed. I did not mind paying for the repairs, there was no estimate before before the work. The repair man was at the house for two hours, never before had I ever had to pay $800.00 for labor!! This is outrageous! I really feel like I was taken advantage of, being alone and a woman! With the repair and the labor I could have had almost a new DOOR..who in their right mind charges this amount for labor? I have contacted them but received no response, even sent them the bill I was given!! I was going to have them back to do other jobs, but no way now would I hire them again. To top off the problem my door now leaks when it rains that I now have to find a contractor for a new problem!!! (it won't be them) How does some company have the nerve getting away with this kind of labor charge? My car dealer isn't even this expensive and I have been there for hours waiting on repairs!!! They must think their employees are made of Gold! This has put me in a very different mind for hiring companies, beware, ask what their LABOR fees are, if this much turn them away. Wish I knew this before I had them do the work!!
