    On September 23, 2024, On Wings of Gold serviced my 2017 ***** Goldwing motorcycle to remove a shimmy that was occurring during braking and at speeds between ***** mph. The mechanic said he could fix the problem and completed the repair in approximately 5 hours. The repair consisted of replacing all **** joints on the front-end and then re-aligning the front-end. The mechanic also reported spraying a ceramic coating on the new **** joints that he was trying on his motorcycles and other customer's motorcycles. This coating is not authorized by ***, the manufacturer of the front-end kit on my motorcycle, and I would not have authorized its application if given a chance. After my post-repair ride, I noted to the mechanic the front-end was very hard to turn and he indicated this would loosen up over time. I was from out of state and was staying with friends in *******. I was forced to depart on September 24, 2024 due to Hurricane ******. During my travel home, the steering of the motorcycle became worse. I contacted On Wings of Gold several times during the ride home regarding the problems I was having. Upon arriving home, I made an appointment with the shop that did the original front-end installation on my motorcycle and had my motorcycle serviced. The mechanic discovered multiple issues including the front-end joints sticking and the ceramic coating leaking from the joints; a hydraulic line rubbing on the right front **** joint interfering with the steering; a lock nut securing the bottom left **** joint loose; and the front-end toe-in and camber were incorrect and the rods were not parallel with the A arms. The service performed to my motorcycle by the original installer corrected all of the problems introduced by the On Wings of Gold service and noted above. The motorcycle is now performing as well as it did prior to the service by On Wings of Gold.Since this time, multiple conversations have occurred with On Wings of Gold with no satisfactory resolution.

    I did receive reimbursement for the costs I was charged by On Wings of Gold for their work on my motorcycle and at this time do not expect any additional reimbursements..  However, I cannot accept their response because it implies that the shimmy that I was complaining about with my motorcycle was satisfactorily corrected by On Wings of Gold, which it was not. The shimmy is an ongoing warranty issue I have been having since the *** kit was installed on my motorcycle and I do not want it to be interpreted as if this problem has been corrected.
