5 starsMy teenage daughter is a new person since starting at Brilliant Microschools. She had struggled with undiagnosed dyslexia as well as adhd and anxiety. The brick and mortar public schools in our town are highly rated but still failed to in recognizing her learning differences and supporting her. At *** she has understood and is scaffolded through her weaknesses. She is thriving and we are so grateful.Review fromJane V

5 starsMy daughter is in middle school at ***, and I can honestly say this has been one of the best decisions weve made for her education. The experience has been overwhelmingly positive not just academically, but emotionally and socially too. From day one, we felt seen and heard. The onboarding process was smooth and personal. We had a chance to meet teachers, understand the systems, and ask questions. It was a thoughtful welcome into a school that clearly cares about getting it right. Her teachers are incredible. Theyre not just teaching, theyre connecting. They know my daughter, they check in, they challenge her when she needs it and encourage her when she doubts herself. Its a rare balance high expectations with genuine warmth and they manage it well. The class size is small, and you can feel it. Its not a factory model. The students arent just names on a roster theyre known. And because of that, the instruction is actually differentiated. My daughter can explore topics in ways that suit how she learns best. Shes not just absorbing content, shes engaging with it. The ExploreBoards, the project-based learning, the mix of live teaching and self-paced work it all works together to create a learning environment that fits well. And I have to say, the communication from the school has been outstanding. Ive never waited long for a response. The parent support team is kind and organized. Ive reached out with questions, concerns, and sometimes just to better understand how to support my daughter and I always walk away feeling informed and supported.Weve been in other school settings public, private and nothing has felt as aligned with our values and our daughters needs as BMS. Shes growing here. Shes more confident, more curious, and more invested in her own learning than Ive ever seen.Review fromGern G

5 starsMy daughter has blossomed in ways I didnt think were possible with traditional schooling. The teachers have taken the time to understand her unique strengths and challenges, offering support that feels both thoughtful and personal. The schools environment feels like a community, where every child is valued and encouraged to shine in their own way. Its clear that the teachers genuinely care about helping kids reach their potential, not just academically, but as whole, capable individuals. For the first time, I feel like my daughter is truly being seen, and heard.Review fromTanja U

*************** ! Refusing to give me my transcripts over a month cant get a hold of anybody. Principal is never available completely ignoring my request. They have had my son out of school for over a month because of their negligence and giving me ******* transcripts, totally unorganized and unprofessional still havent gotten my sons transcripts still waiting for an answer ignoring my calls. My text never seen this in any school all my life and I have five kids.! This is outrageous. The school should be ashamed of themselves leaving a kid out of school for a whole month over transcripts that they cannot provide be careful with the school. They are shady the principal and upper administration could care less what you need they dont reply back and they dont care.! This is very frustrating and scary to not be able to get what you need for your child to go to school. I do not recommend the school. I would never put my kid in a school that is so negligent if I only had known.Brilliant Microschools Inc

Dear Tanja,
As discussed during orientation week, our policy requires students to attend for at least 10 months before we can issue official transcripts.
For shorter stays like Luka's, we provide grade and attendance records.
Luka joined us on September 5th, but unfortunately, his attendance has been sporadic despite our team's concerted efforts. This intermittent attendance has significantly impacted our ability to compile even basic academic and attendance records. Nevertheless, we managed to assemble the available records and sent them to you on January 10th. Please check your inbox for these documents.
In closing, please understand that altering attendance records compromises the integrity of our academic reporting and is not a practice we can engage in.
We are committed to resolving this matter in a way that respects the factual academic history and upholds our school's standards. We encourage you to contact us directly to discuss how we can further assist you.Review fromStephanie H

5 starsWe've been with *** for about 10 months we love our teacher. There are only 10 students in the classroom and it's the most tailored attention my son has ever gotten. We also find the billing quite reasonable. They require a 3 month commitment to get start which makes sense so you can give it a proper try.And then it is month to month with a 2-week notice which is very flexible compared to anything on the market.Review fromFania B

5 starsMy son is in 10th grade and this is our second year. He has learning disabilities, anxiety and adhd. I feel like I should be a spokesperson at this stage because this was the best decision we’ve ever made. I’m not even sure he needs his anxiety medication anymore. He’s finally in an environment where his teacher “gets him”. Other kids have similar experiences and the learning is tailored to their needs. His teacher said she’s not sure what he's more proud of: my son's social emotional or academic progress!Review fromDoris P

The advertisement and contract are for a program they can NOT provide. Advertise Certified teachers. Teacher was NOT Certified Spec Ed. Advertised dynamic fun classes my child fell asleep. Advertised extracurricular activities and clubs. I was told my child could NOT participate in the Art Class because she was Spec Ed. When told I was DISAPPOINTED and no longer interested as THEY had FAILED to fulfill their contract, THEY CHARGED ME ANYWAY. I feel this program is A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEYBrilliant Microschools Inc

We appreciate you sharing your feedback, but I’d like to address a few misunderstandings. Our program and teachers are exactly as advertised. All of our teachers, including those in special education, are certified, and we ensure that all students have access to tailored, engaging classes.
As for the billing, we diligently follow the processes outlined in our ToS.
We’d very much like to review your case specifically. As your review is currently anonymous, please provide your name and details so we can do so accurately.Review fromjaime d

5 starsLove the school and how the curriculum is set up.They're on two-week cycles for **** Science, and Social Studies. This keeps my son engaged and it is all combined into 1 unit at a time with real-world applications and fun performance tasks.Explore boards and eduprotocols allow for choice in how he study and absorbs content. He usually goes for audio that suits him.Math is done separately but still using very engaging instruction. The explore boards and hands-on projects make learning interactive and meaningful. It's been a fantastic experience for us!
