    Purchased carpeting that was installed on 8/27/24. Within 2 1/2 months there were areas with fraying and pilling of the carpet yarn. The carpet is claimed to carry a 25 year wear warranty. Contacted sales person at G Fried on 11/15/24. Had not received any response as of 12/2/24. Contacted the salesperson again. on 12/3 ***** ****, Sales Manager, called to set up an appointment to look at the carpet. on 12/5 ***** came to the house, took pictures and said he would submit a claim with the manufacturer. Contacted KL on 1/10 after not hearing anything. his response was that he hadn't heard anything. When I pushed him his response was "I only sell the carpet" Called again on 1/22 lmtc and got NO REPONSE. Called KL again on 1/24. he said he still hadn't heard anything, and claimed he would push it to the "higher **** and that I should hear something by the next day. As of 1/30 I still have not heard anything. they are obvoiusly not responded nor trying to resolve the issue of the inferior quality product the sold.

    Mr. *********************** you for taking the time to post your review.  We at G. Fried understand and share your frustration with not having answers as of yet.  We are diligently working on the claim with the Manufacture, but until they make a determination, there is little we can do.  Rest assured we are in constant contact with them working towards a finding.  As soon as we have more information including a determination, we will share it with you immediately.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It has been 4 months and G ***** has done nothing to resolve this issue other than blame the manufacturer.  They have not taking any steps to honor the warranty on this DEFECTIVE product.  AT this point I am being forced to my action of last resort

    The claim was approved with the manufacturer and new carpet is being replaced for the customer on Friday March 21, 2025. I ***** **** spoke directly to our customer on the scheduling date and that we are in the process of resolving his complaint issues.
