    I purchased a Wii on 03/17 being told the console was fully tested and working, upon getting home I tried to load up multiple Wii and GameCube games, all of which did not work due to a laser error. I then brought the console to another games store closer to me to see what was wrong and they told me that R U Games clearly did not test this console because not one game on it works (you guys are an hour away).I returned to R U Games on 03/19 to get my money back. I was then told the only option was an exchange or an in-store credit which is something I was not made aware of as the receipt doesnt say anything about in-store credit but it does say no cash returns I am looking for the money back on my credit card, no cash transaction.I had my first interaction with the business being a console that Im suspecting was broken upon purchase and not tested, and then forced to keep my $150 in a companies in-store credit system so they dont lose money, and give no customer satisfaction. I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth. The last thing I want is to exchange or purchase another console and to have it not work and drive another 45 minutes out to the business for another exchange I literally just want my money back.

    We have clearly visible signage all over our store that all returns are exchange only. Our return information reiterating this is also on receipts given to the customer. The customer returned on 3/24/23 and exchanged the defective item for other items in the store per our policy. The fact that the customer filed with the ******************** and a chargeback with their credit card and either did not call to cancel each complaint or made such complaints after the return was already made speaks volumes on their character. ********* may shop elsewhere from now on and is no longer welcome in our store. Especially after being belligerent and rude to our employee and using profanity in our store while children were present because he didn't get his way. That is not how adults behave and we do not tolerate such juvenile behavior in our establishment.

    I am rejecting this response because you have stated I have intentionally not notified the BBB or my bank regarding the dispute. I actually still wanted to report your business to the BBB because I think you run a poor excuse of a used game company and youre mad that your profits are down the drain since M&M Games opened up right down the road from you so you reject refunds. Im guessing your business wont be around for much longer and good riddance to you.

    Additionally, funny you mention me bringing up rash behavior in front of children meanwhile the parents were screaming at their kids and were severely mentally disabled, I guarantee my quiet foul exchanged words about how this is fing ridiculous I cant get a refund was the last thing to ruin their childhood. You mention not how an adult behaves, meanwhile you clearly down know how a business should behave, you have grown adults working at a used game store and should act like it when people want their hard earned money back. I dont need to go back to your store anyway now that my money is back, Im sure next time Im there will be when Im driving past space for rent. Hope your employees get out before its too late.
