Southernwind Kennels is the best kennel that I know of, I have searched all over and believe me when I say no one comes close to the amazing gsds that CECI breeds. The commitment and care she gives to the kennel is amazing. Every single 1 of her dogs are absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. **** has to be one of the most honest people I have ever met. If you are looking for an excellent GSD look no further than Southernwind Kennels .

I would not even give one star. I brought a 7 month old male puppy from Ceci. This puppy had one t******* and a short tail. I paid ***** for him Plus five hundred dollars to have him shipped from FL to Va. He got here around 1:30 in the morning. The next day he moved funny. I just thought it was the long drive in a crate. I could not get a vet appointment to the following week. His movement did not get any better. I started feeling his boady. His tail at the base of his spine where his tail comes out was ********************* with a knot. When He pooped his tail wouldn't go up all the way. I called Ceci about the finding. Acted like I was crazy on my findings. The vet took x-rays and confirmed what she told me before taking the x-rays. He has a old break in his tail. Ceci sothernwind gsd Act like I did something wrong her vet her groomer nobody, she said noticed the tail. When he came here he was dirty I took him to my groomer. I didn't mention the tail. Got home and I get a phone call from the groomer to tell me about his tail. So I can't see how *********************** missed his back end. Took him to 3 vets they all say the same thing broken tail. None of the vets can guarantee of his future down the road because of his movement, he throws his right hip out. He will get fishers they are painful sores. I have to wipe him every time he poops and hurts him because I have to pull his tail up to wipe him. I asked her if she would compensate me, she told me no. I told her I would pay **** for him. Paid ****. Then I get the breeders speech. I can bring the puppy back get another one, never thinking you're in love with this puppy. Then she said I'll give a **** back but I want his Papers. I told her I bought the papers with him whether I pay **** a ****, 10,000 or a dollar. I paid for those papers. Then from there it went down hill. Buyers be aware.

Good day, With all due respect I have to responded to this complaint with facts and proven written statements I have that, I will definitely make them public if needed so, Mrs Jeanne had gotten in the past years a Long Coat female that was abandoned by the owner and we were legally advised we could find a home for her, and Mrs Jeanne accepted the puppy as a gift from us, with no expectancy of any money back to pay for all of her expenses. Need to state she took the youngster to check upon and they found a grade 1 heart murmur, for this she was completely under the knowledge this puppy was a rescue and we knew nothing about her medical history, we were only helping in finding a right home, but she was neither bred by us nor owned by us.

One year later she calls and tells us she wants a puppy or youngster but she has no money to pay for a full priced dog.  We had brought in from Germany two puppies and one of them had a kinked tail, shorter tail and one of his testes had not dropped, we explained the whole situation to her and sent her pictures and videos, we also sent her the copy of the health certificate on the puppy which clearly established and disclosed the puppy had one missing teste and a Kinked tail this was fully disclosed and we do have all in writing and signed by her, we did a price discount of 2,000.00 taking in consideration they puppy definitely could not be sold at full price and she insisted heavily she couldn’t pay more money, so we agreed on the price which it even did not cover his traveling expense from Germany to US which is $2,350.00, but we didn’t mind about that, we wanted a good home for him and someone who would enjoy him. Before the puppy was sent to her, she requested transportation, because she could not come to pick the puppy up we did sent all the documents including the Health certificate, the papers and full contract that disclosed everithing about his teste and tail. My Veterinarian is willing to testify about this in all terms and she also allowed me to give her name in case this type of claim came up , but to say the least my Veterinarian Would never ever give a health Certificate if she thought the dog was not healthy or had any congenital or any kind of health problems, which she states and stands by her Professional ethical position as a Veterinarian and full experienced Breeder as well.

We did send all information we usually send by e mail because she stated she didn’t have a printer and it was impossible for her to get a hold of a printer, so we did go ahead to help her and printed everithing for her, Once she receive the puppy we  have text messages from Mrs. Jeanne on how happy she was about her new companion and how well he was doing, this we can fully display at any moment, as the contract states and signed by her she was supposed to take the puppy in 72 hours from receiving the puppy, for this reason I had sent the contract by e mail with a week in advanced so she would read it and proceed to make a schedule and take the puppy. to the Vet in time.Mrs Jeanne did a bridge of contract and waited two full weeks to take him and her Vet who brought up to  her about the Kink in the tail, which she was already disclosed in the contract sent, and in the health Certificate which she had to disclose to her Vet,  instead she went into a defensive mode and started calling doing claims and threats against my business about the dog condition, as we state on our contract, anytime she can bring the dog back to us if she doesn’t want to keep it and in this case we do not return the money, but on her situation, trying to be cordial I told her  (and is Written) I would gladly receive the dog back if she brought him and I would give her a replacement of same value or she can pay the normal difference in price and get a full registration not AKC limited puppy, but she wanted the money back and keep the dog, and we feel this was very unfair from her side, , that this was not happening, I did deny that alternative. I did offer her to send 1000.00 back and have her send his registration Papers and Passport, for they were supposed to be still under my name, to my surprise, she had registered the dog in AKC and done the transfer without my signature which means a forfeit to AKC, I’m the importer of the dog and the paperwork was under may name and since she had stated she wasn’t keeping the dog because she couldn’t “ maintain him cleaning his part as she says” (Which is a false statement for the dog was here with us and he does moves tils tail perfectly to both sides and is not a dead tail that will need to be taken care of. (We have videos and pictures of him to prove the above.) Learning she had done the registration time before she started the claim and harassment this led me to the conclusion, she had already in her mind a plan already set up, because the reality is if she wanted to bring the dog and get either money or a new replacement, she wouldn’t have sent for his registration under her name. We assess this action to be fraudulent in action and statement, therefore communication was ceased. Additionally, she attempted to falsify a signed contract forgetting that I had the completed contract in hand. She sent a photocopy of the e-mailed contract missing her signature as proof we didn’t enter a contract. I promptly photographed the completed contract with her wet ink signature in response and she stopped communicating further about it.
