  I requested an estimate in early July 2023. Signed a contract at the the end of July and was told someone would call to schedule the job and I was required to give a deposit of half of what the job was supposedly to cost which according to my bank was cashed by the business the same day they received it. No one called to schedule the work needing to be completed. I had to hound them and call almost every week. Only for them then to finally answer the phone and say that they didn’t see that I had called previously and that they had fired the contractor that did my original quote due to shady business practices. They then said they would send out someone else because the notes on the original quote did not make sense. After sending someone else out to my home they dragged their feet for another week. When they finally scheduled someone to come, he did not complete the original work quoted and stated that it was unnecessary. I called the same day the contractor came out to do those minimal repairs for clarification and was told someone would call me back. Wedn I called again because I still had not heard from them and the lady that answered they took off an extra $500 and said someone would call me back. The work completed was not even $1000 of work and they already cashed my $2500 deposit prior to doing any work for my kitchen island rebuild. I simply want a detailed invoice of what I was charged for. Today is Thursday September 14th over 2 and half months from original quote and I have called them again and no one answered so I left a message. How do you take someone’s money, use it towards operating expenses and not deliver the work requested? Run far away from this company! I am a veteran on a fixed income and they seem to only want your money and to deliver unsubstantiated work. Quite seriously the work could have been done by someone else sooner but they sat on it and pocketed my deposit and now refuse to make good on returning phone calls.

  The message BBB received from Riveras Flooring, Kitchens and More was Although there was a signed contract for the amount on the estimate, a refund was issued. The signed contract also stated the work that would be completed for that estimated amount. That work agreed to in the signed contract was not completed and deemed unnecessary by the cabinet design technician. The work completed was not equivalent to the proposed estimate and that is why a refund was requested. I received 50% of my initial deposit but that was at my request. The owner refused to do an itemized invoice of work completed because they claimed they had such a big business that if they knew the work would have been so minimal they would not have taken the job. This company sent out multiple people to give a quote and the quote was the same each time. This business will never receive my approval or a recommendation to others. Consumer beware.

  If I could give a zero rating, I would. They started a bathroom remodel for my son and his wife. They had delay after delay. They finally started the work but did an insanely bad job tiling. There were over thirty (30) areas where the tile was sticking out 1/4" or more and over ten (10) areas where the tile was so crooked that a child could see it. It was ridiculous!!! After finally convincing someone at the company that there were a lot of issues, they finally came out and inspected the work. They agreed with my son and said they would fix all of the issues.Now the fun really begins! We can't get replacement tiles right away. So they allegedly ordered them. And my son waited patiently. Almost a month goes by. They finally show up after a no show and supposedly "fix" the problems. That's a joke! Now the job is worse than it was the first time. They were contacted and refused to come out and inspect the "repair work" or to do anything else with the tile. My son refused to pay the final payment. However, he is out a lot of time spent, vacation time and the majority of the money. And now, most of the tiles have to be ripped off the walls again to retile the shower the correct way.Did I mention that the shower was unusable the entire time. About three months total.******** is the worst tile company I have EVER seen in all of my 45+ years of doing home improvements professionally. I recommend that you stay away (RUN) from this poor excuse of a flooring and tile company!!! Unless you want to lose your hard earned money and go through the grief and aggravation my son's family went through...

  Our master bath was original to the house, ****. It was our BUB (Big Ugly Bathroom). The staff at the showroom was patient and extremely helpful in helping coordinate our choices of stone, tiles and vanity. All the crews from demo to finish were prompt, clean, polite and professional. The workmanship was extremely well done and we never felt like there was a rush to "just get it done" or short cuts taken. We are so excited to have our new bathroom and look forward to getting a second bathroom redone by Riveras. Thanks to everyone involved for a job well done!

  Only care about taking money, does not care at all about the workmanship. Hires people with little experience and provides them with zero oversight. A 5-8 week project left us with no kitchen for 12 weeks, nothing was done correctly. Drywall work is terrible, windows, door, cabinets and countertop were all installed unlevel, windows and doors installed unlevel. Not to mention the windows installed are not the ones we purchased. Broke the wheels on our fridge, broke our thermostat - never fixed them. Grout for the flooring is terrible, missing, and got it all over the bottom of the new cabinets. The list could go on and on. We have waited 10 months for Barrett to call back and make it right, but he got all of his money so no call backs. I wasn’t going to post this but he left me with no option since he does not want to do right by customers and others need to be aware before spending their money!

  We had floors done and an office built early Jan/Feb 2022. It took forever to finally get on the calendar to get started. We were told 6 weeks and it ended up being 8 or 9. The office creation went well but they installed my office door incorrectly and it is missing door jam s**** (least of our issues).Our floors were installed mostly but they didnt order enough so we had to wait for planks to come in which took another 1-2 months for our floors to be officially complete. They didnt put our bathroom sink back together properly and our sink started pulling from the wall causing us to get that fixed. Our floors had humps and gaps in our kitchen living room area and one of the guys had to come re-lay those for us. We are now still less than a year in with these floors and are noticing more gaps and a lack of smoothness in our floors and want them to fix their poor installation. We were told early on when we called with concern that the floors are floating floors and they may shift. These gaps we are seeing are as a result of poor installation not floating floors settling.We called again 2 months ago and they were quick to send a lady out who took pictures and found other issues with our flooring not being smooth or gapping. She said she needed to call the manufacturer but she would get back to me in 1-2 weeks. I didn't get any calls and I called at the 2.5 week **** and was told they haven't forgotten us. I have now called weekly and always get a voicemail or someone takes a message and after 2 months now, we still haven't received a returned call after the first visit to look at their bad job on our floors. BUYER BEWARE! There are many options for flooring, don't choose Riveras unless you want a headache, delayed job that is done poorly and the empty promises of them taking care of your issue.

  This issue with the flooring is actually a site issue, not a craftsmanship nor product issue. That being said we have spoke about sending someone to resolve the site issue at our expense. However we have been trying to work the complimentary work into our schedule. Our office staff has spoke to you about the issue and scheduling on more than one occasion. After seven years of being in business, having one complaint should speak for the quality and integrity. Please contact **** if you would like to have us resolve the issue.

  BEWARE!! We are on a not so big remodel that was supposed to be no more than 2-3 months. My key concern in the beginning that they have very few pictures of finished remodels (clue #1, I thought that was odd), their contract is VERY vague (so that they are not held to miscellaneous items), but the talk is slick getting you to commit and sign. We are now entering almost 6 months and still only about half way done. Their work is not good, not one protect we had was done correctly! Kitchen hardware installed wrong, the knockdown on the ceilings was splattered all over the walls, doors, furniture, a painting was ruined, door left unlocked for days. Flooring is taking forever since it was back ordered (possibly not their fault), then when it did come in to the distribution center it takes even longer to get it to the job. Good luck getting them to return a call and the almost never return emails. We had to hire a painter to fix all the walls (which I did it anticipate painting) since ALL the walls had paint overspray onto the wall area. Costly error, almost $5,000!!!!Needless to say, I regret ever choosing this company!!! Not a cheap contractor but I hope to save someone else many headaches and lots of sleepless nights!! I wish I could leave NO STARS!
