The 2 guys couldn’t complete a sentence and I felt like they were on drugs. One even yelled and cursed me out. We ran the AC and the Heat so they could do test. At one point one said to the other one, “That's not right” after they took a voltage measurement. The first guy said “That's for another call.” The other guy said “Oh ok.” I asked what they found and he said it had nothing to do with the AC. They added a lot of freon and the temp came down inside then they let ALL of it back out again. They said they couldn’t figure it out after 4 hrs and would send a higher tech the next day. The next guy did a lot of measurements in garage then went outside to the condenser unit. I went to grab more coffee then I walked up behind him. I found him digging out the fins and carving out a hole in the condenser (see pic). This condenser was practically new and was still under warranty. He admitted to doing it (see vid attached and pic of hole), by saying he was testing it. He said he needed to clean the condenser (even though I had already cleaned it with pro grade cleaner a few days before.) He used my water hose to push around a bit of dirt that was sitting on the concrete, not even in the fins, for about 10 min. I was like, “ok that's enough, you are just wasting my water at this point when you can just reach in and take those few leaves out by hand.” He decided he was going to leave because that was the only thing he could do. I had another person, from another company, come out and look at my ac and they found the issue within 15 min and set the blower to a lower setting which it fixed the problem. He said that the air flow should have been one of the first things they checked. I just had someone come out bc my heat didn’t work and seems AC Direct DISCONNECTED the control line coming from the thermostat (see pics attached.) The blue wire-nut is new, the one white wire in the orange nut should have those wires in the blue together. I have video too.
