The hotel was just OK but they billed us for two nights after we had modified the reservation to just one night more than 7 weeks before the stay. I had a confirmation number and email with the 1 night reservation clearly detailed. After the stay I noticed two nights of charges on my credit card. I called the hotel up at least 8 times and was put on hold and no one ever came back, or the phone rang and no one ever picked up. I called in a complaint to the ************* 800 number and they said the website had created two reservations one for 2 nights and one for 1 night. Although they agreed no one would ever do that, they claimed they had no visibility into the hotel billing system and couldn't issue a refund even after I sent them the corrected confirmation, the credit card billing statement and the complaint case number. Stay away from ************* as they have terrible customer service, poor website transactional management and very poor customer complaint resolution processes.

I booked a one night stay at this ‘resort’ prior to traveling on a 7-day cruise out of Port Canaveral. The morning of check-out, I woke up to multiple bed bug bites up and down both legs. Upon returning from my trip, I reached out to the resort to get a refund and provided photo evidence of the bites. After a few days, the manager replied and continued to deny a refund because after not one but 3 complaints of bed bugs, the room that I stayed in on April 7th was tested on April 24th and came back negative. On April 24th, 2 of the other hotel rooms with bed bugs complaints were also tested - one was also negative, the other positive. My room was not tested until almost 3 weeks after my initial stay. I paid $400 for a dirty hotel that looks nothing like the images on their website. The bathroom in our room appeared to be so dirty that none of the 6 people in my room would take a shower in there. We went to their dining room for dinner and were placed at a dirty table. The entire parking lot is under construction. And upon arrival I was argued with because I was told there was not a credit card on file, but I used a credit card to hold my reservation 3 months prior, where is that card information? I am extremely disgusted and disappointed with this hotel and it’s management.
