    Hurricane occurred on 9-28-22. Paradise Building and Renovations was contacted to remove walls from water instrusion. Which was done and paid for. There was an estimate given for remodeling my townhouse which included replacing drywall, flooring and painting. I did sign the contract to perform the work and a $5,000 deposit was given to ****, the owner as a down payment. As of October 2023 this work was never done or even started. I signed on with another company to do the above work at the end of October. I asked **** for my deposit back which he has to date refused to do. There is another homeowner in my townhouse complex who he did the exact same thing to. She gave him $5,000 deposit to remodel her home and once again never showed up to complete the job. Also the job was done with the new company within a month.
