Dec 2022 I purchased a horse online from Horsesales LLC, aka Horses Worldwide Aka, ***** **********. The horse arrived with behavior and health issues that were difficult to diagnose. After almost two years of time off, injections, diagnostics I took my horse to **** and ****** to perform a ct scan as recommended by my vet. He has spinal impingement rending him unrideable and a candidate for euthanasia, CVCM, wobblers. Iykyk :(, The area of spinal impingement corresponds with arthritis present in his X-rays prior to purchase. Seeing his symptoms were present from day one, they should known something was wrong, I have contacted ***** and asked to work together to find a resolution but to no avail. She says I should have used insurance and points to bill of sale. I was told that this horse would be an athletic, sound dressage horse. He was never that. I think people should be made aware that this happens and know to protect themsleves. Their jurisdiction is placed in ******* which makes it very difficult to find any legal support. They dont have the business available anywhere publicly online to provide feedback. I imagine thats purposeful. In the last 2 years Ive spent over ****** in vet bills and therapies to try and get my horse healthy. I had no idea what I was up against. Take caution and read over bill of sale from them Or get a lawyer to help write one. At the time I was six months post partum after just losing my other horse, I wasnt worried about reading the fine print, I wish I had. Let my mistake save you the trouble. Buy in the ** where you have more protection, and unless you have a personal European connection proceed with a manure load of caution. at least hope that I imagine they sell good horses to popular names in the dressage world as their reputation keeps unpopular people like me supporting them. Regardless there needs to be a place for the public to voice their concerns. So, i officially give ****** a neigh. Be smart yall.
