      Complaint Against Martin Law, ************* Firm for ************************* Dear *** or Madam,We are writing to file a formal complaint against Martin Law Firm, located at ***************************************************. We retained their services in May 2023 to handle a legal dispute with our homeowners association (***). We paid the firm approximately $6,400 for services over 15 months and an additional $580 that we are still being billed.Unfortunately, throughout our engagement, we encountered multiple issues with the handling of our case:Lack of Communication: We received little to no updates about the status of our case, and many of the updates we did receive turned out to be inaccurate.Negligence: The attorney, ******** ********, failed to file important documents in a timely manner, leading to the dismissal of our case without our knowledge.Misleading Billing Practices: We were billed for work that was either not completed or not communicated to us.We are seeking a full refund of the payments made due to the firms inadequate services and unethical practices. We have attached relevant documentation, including invoices and a timeline of events, for your review.We would appreciate the BBBs assistance in resolving this dispute.Sincerely,Terigio ******** and ******* ****

      On April 13th, 2023 I had an appointment for a free consultation.I gave a check of $3,500 for a retainer.The business provided me with lies and stories about giving me my full refund.The dispute was they said they worked to long for it to be a free consultation.I received a refund in the amount of $2,879 on May 9th ,2023.They owe me $621.

      The firm was retained to provide legal services on an hourly basis. Services were provided as agreed. The correspondence attached to the complaint speaks for itself. All unearned funds were returned to the client. The attorney client privilege prohibits ** from discussing this matter any further.
