On November 11, 2022, I paid a $506 deposit to *********************** at **************** in agreement to transport my belongings from *********, ********** to **********, **. The total estimate was $2383.59 and the remainder would be paid upon arrival. The pickup date was set for November *****, 2022. I tried to contact **** a few days before pickup to make sure everything was on schedule, but I was unable to do so. I left ********** on November 22, 2022 with my belongings still there. My wife and kids stayed, and no one ever showed for pickup. I tried to reach **** again, but no call message, text, or email received a response. I looked at the Bill of Lading and began reaching out to **************** directly. It turns out, they never had a record with my information as a customer (Job# **********. They receive the Bill of Lading after the truck is dispatched to the location - the truck was never sent. And explained that the paperwork I had was only an estimate. So, where is the Bill of Lading I signed tying me to this horrible company and why don't I have a copy?My bank statement showed the charge came from ********** Moving and not ****************. It appears someone is using their company information and letterhead to ******* customers. I could not find much information on ********** besides a bogus website and phone numbers sending you to the same messaging system, which gets no response. After searching their ******# ******* and MC# ******, I was linked to Interstate Movers of America - who have a terrible rating from the BBB and are basically known to run scams. Reverse phone number searches led to more bogus messages or different companies altogether.

To all concerned, this customers complaint is very concerning.

This customer booked her job with **************** direct as all documents show that are attached.

The customer canceled on site as she had more inventories, she has filed with ****************  BBB as attached and they have responded

The customer also charged back the deposit and also went to arbitration , the bank found in favor of the carrier and merchant both times, and her deposit is on account for moving services as has been communicate with the customer multiple times.

This has cost the carrier and the admin firm a lot with dispatch, truck, crew ,gas, logistics , admin, chargeback fees and all the time involved with this.

We are willing to waive all cost and use her deposit for moving services direct with the ****************  for up to 2 years , as signed off on with all documents.

How the customer has communicated about all parties is not accurate and harmful as written , please consider this complaint as addressed by all parties and closed.

The customer is welcome to contact all numbers she has for moving services as she has been communicate with many times.

      Thank You

      Complaint: 19580991

I am rejecting this response because:
This company is absurd. I booked with **************** "directly", but the deposit charge on my bank statement was posted by ********** Moving. **************** have no history of my move because they never dispatched a truck. The job number provided on the "estimate" is non-existent. A Bill of Lading was never generated. A moving truck never showed up onsite. We scheduled the move for Nov.18-19, even though the company said a truck was dispatched and came to ********* on the 17th. Not true because I was there and had no contact with the company. Where is the updated Bill of Lading if I adjusted the inventory? Where is the form/letter/statement saying I am the one who cancelled? ******* called me 2 weeks ago, after I posted this complaint and I explained the situation. He said he would do some "recon" and call me back. I haven't heard from him since - even calling all the numbers I have and leaving messages. My deposit is still on file and the company could still help me move, but I can't get a hold of anyone to schedule it. Besides, I have little faith now and would worry about my belongings. What would I gain to defraud this company anyway? I am an honest person who works hard for my money - just trying to get back to the east coast to be with my family. **** was real good at making me believe this was a family-owned company who I could trust. I'm not sure who dropped the ball.
Bottom line, no service was provided after the deposit was paid. All attempts to contact the company have been ignored, but a representative was surely able to respond to my ***** Fargo claim and BBB complaint. How convenient for them and terribly inconvenient for me.
Please just refund my deposit so we can put this to rest.
      Sincerely,

      *******************************

      Complaint: 19580991

I am rejecting this response because:

I have been going back and forth with ********** and getting nowhere. I understand that I signed a contract, but the moving company never showed up. They did not provide a Bill of Lading that showed I changed the inventory (because I did not) or a form stating I cancelled the service due to that. Four months later, I'm still trying to get my stuff to DE. The company said my deposit is on file for **************** to do the move, but I cannot reach anyone. Besides, I have lost all faith and do not trust them enough to use their service anymore. I have already made arrangements to fly out to CA and drive back myself.

I have no reason to defraud this company. ********** charged the deposit and they should be held accountable. It seems they are trying to pass responsibility onto ****************, even when they have no information about my move. They are nation-wide movers. Surely they could refund my deposit instead of receiving another bad **** against their company.

They are not trying very hard to make things right. I have not spoken to anyone and they only respond to the BBB complaint. This is their line of business. It has definitely been more of a hassle for me to deal with. ********** has a poor history of customer service. Because they are a business, the bank and everyone else want to just believe what they say. I am telling you that they are dead wrong. Nobody ever showed onsite at the scheduled time of move. I did not change inventory or cancel service. I also have seen no proof to support that statement.

Something is going on and it's not right. I guess they get over on people by dragging the issue and talking in circles, hoping the customer finally gives up. I have good morals and most large businesses do not - they just have a bottom line. What's right is right and wrong is wrong. If this was my fault, I would own up to it. I need ********** to do the same.

I will be following up with my bank again. This time I will request a supervisor because I don't think anyone understands the real scope of what's going on.

      Thank you for your time.

      Sincerely,

      *******************************
