      Billing department personnel and manager are not in sync with the business side of the doctors office. I provided my insurance info the day before the appointment, to validate coverage. When I showed up for the appointment the next day, I was asked to verify insurances go thru the process again. The billing department told me I had to prepay no more than $398 dollars, as the doctor did t take my insurance, but there were two other doctors in the practice that did. I rebooked the appointment with one of the approved doctors for one week later. I called to billing department to make sure there were not going to be any issues, they confirmed they had everything they needed for insurance and billing. I called my insurance company to validate what the billing department had said, they confirmed the doctor was on their approved in network list. At 3:48pm the day before the appointment, I get a message from the billing deartment at 4pm, saying they see I have an appointment tomorrow, and my insurance insurance isnt accepted, so Ill need to prepay for the appointment. Frustrated and disappointed by how poorly managed their billing department and customer service is, I decided to cancel the appointment. Upon cancellation, I was but told there may be a $75 dollar fee for cancellation within 24 hours. I called and spent 30 minutes explaining what happed and that Im not paying the $75 cancel fee, so remove it. Your office is not run professionally, if it was you wouldnt validate and approve my insurance, wait a week and leave a message at 4pm the day before the 10:30am appointment to raise an insurance concern. This is not professional, the billing department manager needs professional development. You wasted my time, and the ************** resources.
